Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Teppotsvams Concludes Grandly
The three-day float festival (Teppotsavam) of Lord Sri Kodandarama Swamy, held at the Ramachandra Pushkarini in Tirupati, concluded grandly on Wednesday.
On this occasion, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed ceremoniously in the temple from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The Utsava deities of the Lord and Goddess were offered a sacred bath with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric, and sandalwood.
Later, the procession of the Utsava deities of Sita, Rama, and Lakshmana started from the temple at 6:00 PM and reached the Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini at 7:00 PM. The deities were seated on a beautifully decorated float adorned with electric lights and flowers, and were taken for nine rounds in the Pushkarini, blessing the devotees with divine darshan.
After the Teppotsavam, the Utsava deities of the Lord and Goddess returned to the temple in a procession.
Temple Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, Temple Inspector Sri Suresh, other officials, and a large number of devotees participated in the festival.
