Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Teppotsvams Concludes Grandly






The three-day float festival (Teppotsavam) of Lord Sri Kodandarama Swamy, held at the Ramachandra Pushkarini in Tirupati, concluded grandly on Wednesday.


On this occasion, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed ceremoniously in the temple from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The Utsava deities of the Lord and Goddess were offered a sacred bath with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric, and sandalwood.


Later, the procession of the Utsava deities of Sita, Rama, and Lakshmana started from the temple at 6:00 PM and reached the Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini at 7:00 PM. The deities were seated on a beautifully decorated float adorned with electric lights and flowers, and were taken for nine rounds in the Pushkarini, blessing the devotees with divine darshan.


After the Teppotsavam, the Utsava deities of the Lord and Goddess returned to the temple in a procession.


Temple Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, Temple Inspector Sri Suresh, other officials, and a large number of devotees participated in the festival.

తిరుపతి రామచంద్ర పుష్కరిణిలో మూడు రోజుల పాటు జరిగిన శ్రీకోదండరామ స్వామివారి తెప్పోత్సవాలు బుధవారం ఘనంగా ముగిశాయి


 సందర్భంగా ఆలయంలో ఉదయం 8 నుండి 10 గంటల వరకు స్నపనతిరుమంజనం వేడుకగానిర్వహించారుఇందులో పాలుపెరుగుతేనెకొబ్బ‌రినీళ్ళుప‌సుపుచందనంతో స్వామిఅమ్మవార్లఉత్సవమూర్తులకు అభిషేకం నిర్వ‌హించారు.


అనంతరం సీతారామలక్ష్మణుల ఉత్సవమూర్తుల ఊరేగింపు సాయంత్రం 6 గంటలకు  ఆలయం నుండిబయల్దేరి రాత్రి 7 గంటలకు శ్రీరామచంద్ర పుష్కరిణి వద్దకు చేరుకున్నారువిద్యుద్దీపాలుపుష్పాలతోఅందంగా అలంకరించిన తెప్పపై స్వామిఅమ్మవారు ఆశీనులై పుష్కరిణిలో తొమ్మిది చుట్లు తిరిగిభక్తులకు దర్శనభాగ్యం కల్పించారు


తెప్పోత్సవం అనంతరం స్వామిఅమ్మవారి ఉత్సవమూర్తులు ఊరేగింపుగా ఆలయానికి చేరుకున్నారు.


తెప్పోత్స‌వంలో ఆల‌య డెప్యూటీ వో శ్రీమతి నాగ‌ర‌త్న‌టెంపుల్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ శ్రీ సురేష్ఇతర అధికారులువిశేష సంఖ్య‌లో భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Edurkolu Wedding Ceremony Impresses Devotees





As a part of the festivities of the celestial Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta, on Wednesday evening,  the procession of the Utsavamurthis of Sri Sita and Sri Rama was held in a grand style up to the finely decked Kalyana Vedika.


On this occasion, the ''Edurkolu'' ceremony stood as a cynosure. Meanwhile Edurkolu stands significant in Telugu Wedding ceremony and is often considered as a pre-wedding ritual where the bride’s family formally welcomes the groom and his family to the wedding venue, symbolizing the meeting of two families. It serves as a joyful, ceremonial introduction, often featuring playful banter and exchange of garlands.


During the ceremony, the temple priests, Sri Srinivas participated on behalf of Ammavaru while Sri Rajesh Swamy took the side of Swamivaru and carried out the ceremony in a joyous and colourful manner much to the admiration of devotees.

ఎదుర్కోలు వేళ స్వామి–అమ్మవార్ల అనురాగ దర్శనం edurkolu





ఒంటిమిట్టలోని శ్రీ కోదండరామాలయం చెంత కల్యాణోత్సవాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని బుధ‌వారం సాయంత్రం శ్రీ సీతారాముల ఉత్సవమూర్తుల శోభాయాత్ర కల్యాణవేదిక వరకు వైభవంగా జరిగింది.


 సంద‌ర్భంగా కల్యాణవేదిక వద్ద ఎదుర్కోలు ఉత్సవం నిర్వ‌హించారుస్వామిఅమ్మవార్ల ఉత్సవమూర్తులను ఎదురెదురుగా ఉంచి పూలమాలలు మార్చుకునే ప్రక్రియనే ఎదుర్కోలు ఉత్సవం అంటారు.

 

ఎదుర్కోలు ఉత్స‌వంలో అమ్మ‌వారి త‌ర‌ఫున అర్చ‌కులు శ్రీ శ్రీ‌నివాస్‌స్వామివారి త‌ర‌ఫున శ్రీ రాజేష్‌స్వామి పాల్గొన్నారు.

The honorable CM of Andhra Pradesh Sri N  Chandrababu Naidu reached Vontimitta in Kadapa district on Wednesday evening.


On his arrival at TTD Guest House, he was received and welcomed by TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri BR Naidu, board members Sri Shantaram, Sri Jyothula Nehru, Sri Janga Krishnamurty, Sri Darshan.

Devotional Ecstasy Reaches Peaks at Vontimitta




The cultural programs held on the occasion of Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam organized by TTD as a part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Vontimitta on Wednesday night immersed the devotees in devotional vibes.


The faculty and students of SV college of Music and Dance of TTD commenced the cultural bonanza with Nadaswaram-Dolu as a symbol of virtue before commencing a celestial event.


Later, the Seeta Kalyanam (Bharatanatyam), Ramayana Sabdam (Kuchipudi) and the folk dances performed by the students under the guidance of Dance lecturer Sri Harinath impressed the devotees.  


Events like the marriage of Sri Sita Ram and the coronation ceremony of Sri Rama were beautifully presented in dance form.


The Sri Rama Namamrutham Bhajan Sankeertans sung by the group of Kumari Aishwarya and Kumari Soundarya from Chennai under the auspices of TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad provided a divine treat to the ears of devotees. 


The devotees joined their voices to the Bhajans and immersed themselves in devotional ecstasy.


The Sankeertans sung by the Annamacharya Project artists Sri Saraswati Prasad group “Pidikita Talambrala Pendli Kuthuru…”, “Adimulame Makku Angaraksha…”, “Antayu Neive Hari Pundarikaksha…” enchanted the devotees.


The cultural programs organized on this occasion reflected the splendour of Sri Rama devotion and spread spiritual joy to the devotees.

Over 12000 Devotees Trek Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti






A total of 12,235 devotees trekked Tumburu Theertha mukkoti, located in deep woods and in the steep valley of Seshachala ranges in Tirumala on Tuesday and Wednesday on the auspicious occasion of Pournami.


TTD has made elaborate arrangements of Annaprasadam, buttermilk and water distribution besides security arrangements at Papavinasanam dam for the devotees trekking the tedious torrent path.


People suffering from chronic diseases, asthma, obesity and heart-related ailments and children below age of 12 were not allowed to trek.


Due to parking space constraints, APSRTC buses operated to transport devotees from Octopus Circle to Papavinasanam Dam.


Upon the instructions of the TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, TTD senior officials from Annaprasadam, Health, Vigilance and Forest departments monitored the arrangements of Annaprasadams, drinking water and buttermilk supply by Srivari Sevaks besides security arrangements round the clock and ensured safety of the devotees on these Two days.
