As part of the annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Temple, Nandalur, Sri Soumyanatha Swamy, adorned as Goddess Saraswati, blessed devotees on the Hamsa Vahanam on Thursday night.
The procession through the temple streets created a spiritually vibrant atmosphere with devotees chanting Govinda Namam, traditional bhajans, Kolatam performances, and auspicious temple music. Devotees offered Karpura Harathi at various points and received the blessings of the Lord.
According to temple tradition, the Hamsa Vahanam symbolizes wisdom and spiritual enlightenment. Lord Soumyanatha Swamy, in the form of the embodiment of knowledge, blesses devotees by removing ego and guiding them towards wisdom and liberation.
On July 24 (Friday), Pallaki Utsavam will be held at 8:00 AM, followed by Simha Vahanam Seva at 7:00 PM.
Temple AEO Sri Ravi, Temple Inspector Sri Dileep, priests, officials, and a large number of devotees participated in the Vahana Seva.
