ANKURARPANAM HELD FOR PAVITROTSAVAMS AT KARVETINAGARAM TEMPLE

Ankurarpanam for the annual Pavitrotsavams was performed as per Vaikhanasa Agama traditions at Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple, Karvetinagaram, on Monday evening with Vedic chants and devotional fervour.

The rituals included Medini Puja, Mrutsangrahanam, Senadhipathi procession and Ankurarpanam.

On September 8, Tirumanjanam and sacred Pavithrams will be offered to the presiding deities, followed by Vedic rituals and Purnahuti in the evening, marking the conclusion of the Pavitrotsavams.

The annual Pavitrotsavams are performed to spiritually purify the temple and ward off any inadvertent ritual lapses, as per Vedic traditions.

Temple Superintendent Sri Srinivasulu Reddy, Temple Inspector Sri Veeraswamy, priests and devotees participated.
