ANKURARPANAM PERFORMED FOR TIRUCHANOOR SRI PADMAVATHI AMMAVARI PAVITHROTSAVAMS

The Ankurarpanam ceremony for the three-day Pavithrotsavams of Tiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi Ammavari was performed as per Agama traditions on Wednesday evening.

The Pavithrotsavams will be held from September 24 to 26 to atone for any inadvertent ritual lapses during the year.

Pavithra Pratishta will be held on September 24, Pavithra Samarpana on September 25 and Purnahuti on September 26.

Devotees can participate in the Arjitha Seva by paying ₹750 per person for one day. Two laddus and two vadas will be presented to each grihastha.

JEO Dr A Sharath, Temple Deputy EO Sri Harindranath, priests and others participated in the programme.
