CULTURAL SPLENDOUR LIGHTS UP MADA STREETS DURING GAJA VAHANA SEVA

The sixth day of Tirumala’s annual Salakatla Brahmotsavams turned the Mada streets into a vibrant cultural corridor as 528 artists belonging to 19 troupes showcased their skills.

The states included  Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Puducherry, and Germany.

They presented unique folk and classical performances during the evening Gaja Vahana Seva.

A German troupe of Indian origin stole the show with their Lakshmi Narasimha dance, expressing deep devotion to Indian traditions. 

Other highlights included Srinivasa Kalyanam, Bharatanatyam, Kolatam from Andhra, Galo folk dance from Arunachal Pradesh, Yakshagana and Ardhanareeshwara Parvati Shiva Kalyanam from Karnataka; drums and Lezim from Maharashtra, and Karagattam from Puducherry.

The fusion of folk and classical arts transformed the temple streets into a living celebration of India’s cultural heritage, captivating devotees and art lovers alike.
