The Utlotsavam, celebrating the playful childhood leelas of Lord Sri Krishna, was held with devotion and grandeur at the Sri Krishna Swamy Temple in Tiruchanoor on Saturday as part of the Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations.
The temple, attached to the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, observed special religious rituals throughout the day. The Lord was awakened with Suprabhata Seva in the morning, followed by Sahasranamarchana and Abhishekam to the Moolavarlu.
From 3 pm to 4 pm, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the processional deities, followed by Oonjal Seva. From 6 pm to 7.30 pm, Utlotsavam and Asthanam were conducted in a grand manner.
Devotees participated in large numbers and witnessed the celebrations with devotion, seeking the blessings of Lord Sri Krishna.
Temple AEO Sri Devarajulu, Temple Inspector Sri Chalapathi, archakas, staff and a large number of devotees participated in the celebrations.
