ADDITIONAL EO REVIEWS MEDICAL SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS FOR BRAHMOTSAVAMS

In view of the annual Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams to be held in Tirumala from September 15 to 23, TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary conducted a review meeting at his camp office in Tirumala on Thursday evening on medical services, transport arrangements and police security.

On this occasion, TTD Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kusuma Kumari briefed the Additional EO on the medical facilities to be made available to devotees.

She informed that Ashwini Hospital and Apollo Cardiac Centre in Tirumala will function round the clock throughout the Brahmotsavams to provide medical services to devotees.

Six dispensaries will be set up at Vaikuntam Queue Complex-I and II, Gali Gopuram, ATC, Kalyanakatta and PAC-5. In addition, 10 first-aid centres will be established at PAC-2, Bhashyakarla Sannidhi, Alipiri Rajagopuram, 1,500th Step, Seventh Mile, Srivari Mettu 1,200th Step, Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex, Srivari Temple, Narayanagiri sheds and the darshan queue lines.

One mobile clinic will also be stationed between Krishnateja Circle and Gogarbham Circle. Six new medical camps will be established at Ram Bagicha, Sila Thoranam, Papavinasanam, Srivari Seva Sadan, Srivari Mettu and Alipiri Padala Mandapam.

She further informed that, in addition to the existing 11 doctors and 139 paramedical staff, another 75 doctors and 60 paramedical staff will be deployed during the Brahmotsavams. A total of 16 ambulances will be made available in Tirumala for emergency medical services.

The Additional EO directed the officials to provide prompt medical assistance to devotees in case of emergencies and ensure that adequate medicines are kept available according to the pilgrim rush.

He instructed the officials to safely and swiftly shift devotees to hospitals, in coordination with the police, if any medical emergencies arise on the Mada Streets. He also asked Tirumala DSP Sri Vijaya Sekhar to take necessary measures to ensure clearance for ambulances on the Mada Streets during emergencies.

The Additional EO directed Transport Department GM Sri Ramu to ensure that ambulance drivers remain alert and perform their duties with discipline during emergency situations.

VGO Sri Surendra, Ashwini Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Subba Reddy and other officials were present at the meeting.

The five-day Kareeristi, Varuna Japa and Parjanya Shanti Homams conducted by TTD at the Dharma Giri Veda Vignana peetam in Tirumala for the welfare of humanity concluded ceremonially with Maha Poornahuthi on Thursday.

TTD Executive Officer Sri Muddada Ravichandra and Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary participated in the programme. On the occasion, Sri Kuppa Siva Subrahmanya Avadhani, Principal of Sri Venkateswara Veda Vignana Peetham, recited the mantras related to Kareeristi, Varuna Japa and Parjanya Shanti and led the participants in chanting them.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the rituals were conducted following a tradition that has been observed for several decades, seeking the divine blessings of Sri Venkateswara for timely and beneficial rains across India, so that people are free from the hardships caused by excessive or deficient rainfall and prosper with good crops and cattle wealth.

He said that for the past five days, the Kareeristi along with Varuna Japa and Parjanya Shanti rituals were performed in an elaborate manner with the participation of 32 Ritwiks, and the entire programme was completed with Maha Poornahuthi on Thursday.

He further said that prayers were offered to Sri Venkateswara, the Rishis and great sages for abundant and timely rains across the country and for the prosperity and well-being of India.

TTD Board Members Smt. Panabaka Lakshmi, Sri Bhanu Prakash Reddy and Sri Shanta Ram, along with faculty members and students of the Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham, participated in the programme.

TTD JEO Dr. A. Sharath directed officials to make Tirupati city reflect the spiritual grandeur of Lord Venkateswara’s annual Brahmotsavams, scheduled from September 15 to 23.

On Thursday, the JEO inspected the arrangements along the route from Renigunta Airport to Garuda Circle, along with TTD officials, and issued several instructions.

He said a large number of devotees from across the country are expected to visit Tirupati for the Brahmotsavams. The city should therefore welcome every devotee with a strong sense of devotion and the divine grandeur of Srivari Brahmotsavams.

He directed officials to give a spiritual look to the main roads, junctions and entry points connecting Tirupati from all directions, particularly the route from Renigunta Airport.

The JEO instructed officials to make this year’s decorations more attractive and creative, with illuminations, hoardings, flex banners and floral decorations, based on the experience of previous Brahmotsavams.

He stressed that the decorations should beautifully reflect devotion, tradition and the grandeur of Srivari Brahmotsavams.

Dr. Sharath also directed officials to give the Garuda statue at Garuda Circle a grand new look with special illumination so that it becomes a major attraction for devotees and visitors.

He said Tirupati should present a festive and spiritual atmosphere that reflects the grandeur of the celebrations in Tirumala, enabling devotees to experience the divine spirit of the Brahmotsavams even in the city.

As lakhs of devotees are expected to attend the Brahmotsavams, the entire city should glow with devotional decorations, floral beauty and the chanting of Lord Venkateswara’s name, he said.

CE Sri Manoharam, SE Sri Venkateswarlu, Additional Health Officer Dr. Sunil, VGO Sri Giridhar, EEs Sri Ravishankar Reddy and Smt. Saraswathi, among others, participated in the inspection.

తిరుమల ధర్మగిరి వేద విజ్ఞాన పీఠంలో ప్రపంచ మానవాళి సంక్షేమం కోసం ఐదు రోజుల పాటు టీటీడీ నిర్వహించిన కారీరిష్టి, వరుణ జపం, పర్జన్యశాంతి హోమాలు గురువారం మహాపూర్ణాహుతితో శాస్త్రోక్తంగా ముగిశాయి.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టీటీడీ ఈవో శ్రీ ముద్దాడ రవిచంద్ర, అదనపు ఈవో శ్రీ సి.హెచ్. వెంకయ్య చౌదరితో కలిసి పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర వేద విజ్ఞాన పీఠం ప్రిన్సిపల్ శ్రీ కుప్పా శివ సుబ్రహ్మణ్య అవధాని కారీరిష్టి, వరుణ జపం, పర్జన్యశాంతి మంత్రాలను పఠించి అందరితో పలికించారు.

అనంతరం ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, శ్రీవారి దివ్య అనుగ్రహంతో భారతదేశవ్యాప్తంగా సకాలంలో సస్యానుకూలమైన వర్షాలు కురిసి, అతివృష్టి, అనావృష్టి బాధలు లేకుండా ప్రజలందరూ మంచి పాడిపంటలతో సుభిక్షంగా వర్ధిల్లాలని ఆకాంక్షిస్తూ అనేక దశాబ్దాలుగా కొనసాగుతున్న సంప్రదాయాన్ని అనుసరించి ఈ యాగాలను నిర్వహించినట్లు తెలిపారు.

గత ఐదు రోజులుగా 32 మంది ఋత్వికులతో కారీరిష్టి సహిత వరుణ జపం, పర్జన్యశాంతి కార్యక్రమాలను వైభవంగా నిర్వహించి, మహాపూర్ణాహుతితో సంపూర్ణం చేసినట్లు చెప్పారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టీటీడీ బోర్డు సభ్యులు శ్రీమతి పనబాక లక్ష్మి, శ్రీ భాను ప్రకాష్ రెడ్డి, శ్రీ శాంతా రామ్, ధర్మగిరి వేద విజ్ఞాన పీఠం అధ్యాపకులు, విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
