As part of the annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Temple, Nandalur, the Lord blessed devotees on Sesha Vahanam on the fifth day of the festival on Sunday morning.
Depicting Lord Mahavishnu seated on Adisesha, the beautifully decorated deity attracted a large number of devotees. The procession, accompanied by devotional chanting, traditional music and bhajans, created a spiritually vibrant atmosphere.
On July 27, the Lord will bless devotees on Surya Prabha Vahanam in the morning and Chandra Prabha Vahanam in the evening.
Temple officials, priests and a large number of devotees participated in the Vahana Seva.

"గోవింద... గోవింద..." నామస్మరణలు, చెక్కభజనలు, కోలాటాలు, మంగళవాయిద్యాల నడుమ సాగిన వాహనసేవ ఆలయ పరిసరాలను భక్తిరసపూరితంగా మార్చింది. అడుగడుగునా భక్తులు కర్పూరహారతులు సమర్పించి స్వామివారి దివ్య కటాక్షాన్ని పొందారు.
బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా జూలై 27వ తేదీ సోమవారం ఉదయం సూర్యప్రభ వాహనంపై, రాత్రి చంద్రప్రభ వాహనంపై శ్రీ సౌమ్యనాథస్వామివారు భక్తులకు దివ్య దర్శనం ఇవ్వనున్నారు.
ఈ వాహనసేవలో ఆలయ ఏఈవో శ్రీ రవి, సూపరింటెండెంట్ శ్రీ హనుమంతయ్య, టెంపుల్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ శ్రీ దిలీప్, ఆలయ అర్చకులు, అధికారులు, సేవకులు, పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
The three-day annual Pavitrotsavams at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Tirupati, commenced on Sunday amid Vedic chanting and Saivite rituals.
Special Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the Panchamurthis with milk, curd, honey, turmeric, sandalwood and other sacred ingredients. Kalasa Puja, Homam and Pavitra Pratishta will be performed in the evening.
As part of the festival, Granthi Pavitra Samarpana will be held on July 27, while the celebrations will conclude with Maha Poornahuti on July 28.
The Pavitrotsavams are conducted every year as a sacred atonement ritual for any inadvertent lapses in the temple's daily and festival rituals, seeking divine blessings for temple sanctity, universal welfare and devotees' well-being.

సర్వాలంకార భూషితుడైన శ్రీ సౌమ్యనాథస్వామివారు రాత్రి 7 గంటలకు గరుడునిపై గ్రామ వీధుల్లో విహరిస్తూ భక్తులకు దివ్య మంగళ దర్శనం ప్రసాదించారు.
స్వామివారి దివ్య రూపాన్ని దర్శించుకునేందుకు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు తరలివచ్చారు. అడుగడుగునా కర్పూర హారతులు సమర్పిస్తూ, “గోవింద... గోవింద...” నామస్మరణలతో గ్రామమంతా భక్తిరసంలో మునిగిపోయింది. భక్తులు స్వామివారి కటాక్షాన్ని పొందుతూ విశేష భక్తిశ్రద్ధలను చాటుకున్నారు.
గరుడవాహనసేవవిశిష్టత
వైష్ణవ సంప్రదాయంలో గరుడ వాహనసేవకు అత్యంత విశిష్టమైన స్థానం ఉంది. శ్రీమహావిష్ణువు పరమభక్తుడైన గరుడునిపై విహరించడం ద్వారా భక్తులకు శరణాగతి, భక్తి, జ్ఞానం, వైరాగ్యాల సందేశాన్ని స్వామివారు అందిస్తున్నారని పురాణాలు పేర్కొంటున్నాయి. గరుడుని దర్శించడం వల్ల పాప విమోచనం కలిగి ఆధ్యాత్మిక పురోగతి సిద్ధిస్తుందని భక్తుల ప్రగాఢ విశ్వాసం.
ఈ వాహనసేవలో ఆలయ డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీమతి ప్రశాంతి, ఏఈవో శ్రీ రవి, టెంపుల్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ శ్రీ దిలీప్, ఆలయ అర్చకులు, ఇతర అధికారులు, విశేష సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా జూలై 29వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం 6.30 నుంచి రాత్రి 8 గంటల వరకు మేధిని పూజ, సేనాధిపతి ఉత్సవం, అంకురార్పణ శాస్త్రోక్తంగా నిర్వహిస్తారు.
జూలై 30వ తేదీ ఉదయం 8.30 నుంచి 11 గంటల వరకు యాగశాలలో వైదిక కార్యక్రమాలు జరుగుతాయి. అనంతరం ఉదయం 11 గంటల నుంచి మధ్యాహ్నం 12 గంటల వరకు శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఉత్సవమూర్తులకు స్నపన తిరుమంజనం నిర్వహిస్తారు. పాలు, పెరుగు, తేనె, పసుపు, చందనం, కొబ్బరినీటితో విశేష అభిషేకం చేపడతారు.
మధ్యాహ్నం 3 గంటల నుంచి సాయంత్రం 5.30 గంటల వరకు తులసి, చామంతి, గన్నేరు, మొగలి, మల్లె, జాజి, సంపంగి, రోజా, కలువ తదితర సుగంధ పుష్పాలతో స్వామివారికి వైభవంగా పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం సాయంత్రం 6.30 నుంచి రాత్రి 7.30 గంటల వరకు స్వామివారి వీధి ఉత్సవం భక్తులను ఆధ్యాత్మిక పరవశంలో ముంచెత్తనుంది.
ఇటీవల జరిగిన శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల అనంతరం నిత్యకైంకర్యాలు, ఉత్సవాల్లో తెలిసీ తెలియక జరిగిన లోపాలకు ప్రాయశ్చిత్తంగా ఈ పుష్పయాగాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తారు.
ఈ మహోత్సవం ద్వారా సమస్త దోషాలు తొలగి, లోకానికి శాంతి, సుభిక్షం చేకూరడంతో పాటు భక్తుల సకల మనోరథాలు నెరవేరుతాయని ఆలయ అర్చకులు తెలిపారు.
Ankurarpanam, the traditional commencement ritual for the annual Pavitrotsavams of Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati, was performed as per Agama traditions on Saturday evening. The three-day festival will be held from July 26 to 28.
The rituals included Vigneswara Puja, Punyahavachanam and Ankurarpanam, marking the formal beginning of the sacred festival.
As part of the Pavitrotsavams, Pavitra Pratishtha will be held on July 26, Granthi Pavitra Samarpana on July 27, and Maha Poornahuti on July 28. On the concluding day, the Pancha Murthies—Sri Kapileswara Swamy, Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru, Sri Vigneswara Swamy, Sri Subrahmanya Swamy and Sri Chandikeswara Swamy—will be taken in a grand procession through the temple streets at 6 p.m.
Temple Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, Superintendent Sri Chandrasekhar, temple priests and officials participated in the programme.
The annual Brahmotsavams of the historic Sri Chennakesava Swamy and Sri Siddheswara Swamy temples at Tallapaka commenced grandly on Saturday with Dhwajarohanam (flag hoisting).
During the ceremonies held separately at both temples, priests ceremonially hoisted the sacred flag and invoked the presence of the celestial deities, marking the formal beginning of the nine-day festivals.
Temple Deputy EO Smt. Prasanthi, Temple Inspector Sri Balaji, priests, officials and a large number of devotees participated in the celebrations.
At Sri Chennakesava Swamy Temple, the evening Sesha Vahana Seva marked the first day's festivities. Major attractions in the coming days include Garuda Seva on July 29, Arjita Kalyanotsavam on July 30, Rathotsavam on July 31, Aswa Vahanam on August 1, and Chakrasnanam followed by Dhwajavarohanam on August 2. Vahana Sevas will be held daily at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
At Sri Siddheswara Swamy Temple, the celebrations began with Hamsa Vahana Seva in the evening. The festival schedule includes Chandraprabha Vahanam, Simha Vahanam, Nandi Vahanam, Arjita Kalyanotsavam and Gaja Vahanam on July 30, Parveta Utsavam on August 1, and Vasanthotsavam, Trishula Snanam and Dhwajavarohanam on August 2. Daily Vahana Sevas will be held at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Arjita Kalyanotsavam will be conducted at both temples on July 30. Couples can participate by paying ₹300. Participants will receive Uttareeyam, Ravike, Laddu, Appam and Annaprasadam.
A grand Pushpayagam will be held on August 3, following Snapana Tirumanjanam to the processional deities in the morning.
As part of the Brahmotsavams, the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and Annamacharya Project will organise daily Harikatha, spiritual discourses and devotional music programmes for devotees throughout the festival.
