SERIES OF FESTIVALS LINE UP IN TIRUMALA

A series of festivals are being lined up in Tirumala this week.
On September 24, a unique festival, Bagh Savari which will be observed immediately after the completion of annual Brahmotsavams.
This unique festival
commemorates a legend which was enacted by the deities to examine the devotion of saint Ananthalwar.
The Saint catch hold of Goddess Padmavathi for damaging his garden while Lord Venkateswara manages to flees away from Anantalwar and in this bid to avoid chasing he runs anti clock-wise direction.
Later Anantalwar realizes his mistakes and free Goddess Padmavathi.
To honor this divine play, the deities are taken in a rare anti-clockwise procession to visit the sacred Ananthalwar flower gardens on Thursday.
After pooja and other rituals the deities return to temple.
Chakrasnanam on September 25
Following Ananta Padmanabha Vratam, Chakra Snana Mahotsavam will be observed in Swamy Pushkarini on Friday early morning hours.
Pournami Garuda Seva on September 26
The monthly Pournami Garuda Seva will be observed in Tirumala on Saturday evening between 7pm and 9pm.
DEVOTIONAL MUSIC PROGRAMMES ENCHANT DEVOTEES
Devotional music programmes held at Mahati Auditorium, Sri Kodandarama Pushkarini and Annamacharya Kala Mandiram in Tirupati on the final day of the Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams captivated devotees and the public.
Veenā and flute performances, along with devotional songs and Annamayya and Tyagaraja keerthanas, created a spiritual atmosphere.
Songs including “Chakkani Talliki Changubhala,” “Garudagamana Tava Charanam” and other devotional compositions enthralled the audience.
The programmes were organised by TTD Hindu Dharma Prachar Parishad and Hindu Dharma Projects as part of the Brahmotsava celebrations.

The sacred waters in Swamy Pushkarini echoed with thousands of devotees taking a holy dip during the Chakra Snana Mahotsavam, the last major event held as a part of the nine day mega religious annual festival at Tirumala on Wednesday morning.
Earlier, the Anthropomorphic form of Srivaru, the Sudarshana Chakrattalwar along with the processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi was rendered the auspicious Snapana Tirumanjanam followed by a series of rituals, amidst chanting of divine mantras matching the occasion.
Later the Chakrattalwar was immersed in the holy waters of Swamy Pushkarini with utmost devotion. Thousands of devotees who have been waiting for the auspicious moment took a holy dip in the sacred waters chanting "Govinda... Govinda" with utmost devotion.
After the ritual, speaking on the occasion, TTD EO Sri Ravichandra along with Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary thanked the TTD employees, police, srivari sevaks, and above all the devotees who cooperated with the management in making the annual mega festival a humongous success.

ANKURARPANAM PERFORMED FOR DEVUNI KADAPA SRI LAKSHMI VENKATESWARA SWAMY PAVITHROTSAVAMS

Ankurarpanam for the Pavithrotsavams of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Devuni Kadapa, was performed as per Agama traditions on Wednesday evening.
The three-day festivities will be held from September 24 to 26. Pavithra Pratishta, Pavithra Samarpana and Maha Purnahuti will be performed on the respective days, followed by the procession of the Lord and Goddess on September 26 evening.
Temple Inspector Sri Eshwar Reddy and others participated.
