Special Festivals at Tiruchanoor Temple in October

Several special festivals and religious events will be observed at the temples in Tiruchanur and Appalayagunta during October.

Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Tiruchanur

On October 2, 9, 23 and 30, Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru will bless devotees in a procession along the Mada Streets at 6 pm on Fridays.

Navaratri celebrations will be held from October 11 to 20.

Sri Balarama Krishna Swamy Temple

Tiruchi processions will be held in the evening on October 2 and 29 on the occasion of Rohini Nakshatram.

Sri Sundararaja Swamy Temple

Sri Sundararaja Swamy will take out a procession on October 24 at 6 pm on the occasion of Uttara Bhadra Nakshatram.

Sri Suryanarayana Swamy Temple

Sri Suryanarayana Swamy will bless devotees in a Tiruchi procession at 5 pm on October 10 on the occasion of Hasta Nakshatram.

Sri Srinivasa Swamy Temple, Tiruchanur

Abhishekam to the Moolavarlu will be performed on October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.

Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Appalayagunta

Vastra Alankarana Seva and Abhishekam will be performed at 7 am on October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.

Ashtadala Padma Padmaradhana Seva will be held at 8 am on October 6.

Pavithrotsavams will be conducted from October 6 to 8, with Ankurarpanam on October 5.

Ashtottara Shata Kalasabhishekam will be held at 8 am on October 14.

Kalyanotsavam will be conducted at 10.30 am on October 20.

Abhishekam to Sri Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy will be performed on October 4, 11, 18 and 25.

Gold Plated Elephant and Lion Vahanams Donated to Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Vari Temple

A gold-plated Elephant Vahanam and Lion Vahanam were donated to Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram on Wednesday.

The donors, Smt. P.V. Lakshmi Reddy and Smt. P.V. Divya Priyanka of Hyderabad, handed over the Lion and Elephant Vahanams respectively to Temple Special Grade DyEO Smt. Varalakshmi at the Vahana Mandapam.

The two Vahanams, together worth around Rs.40 lakh, will be used during the annual Brahmotsavams of the temple.

Temple priests performed special pujas to the Vahanams with turmeric, kumkum and flowers, accompanied by Vedic chants. The donors were later provided darshan of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy and were presented with the Lord’s blessings and prasadam.

Temple AEO Sri Gopinath, Superintendent Sri Raj Kumar, priests and other temple staff participated in the programme.
