AP CM VIRTUALLY LAUNCHES ‘VENKATADRI’ APP FOR PILGRIMS

The Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, today virtually launched Venkatadri, a digital navigation and pilgrim-assistance mobile application developed by TTD.

Designed to help devotees navigate Tirumala and locate essential facilities, the app features an AI-powered voice assistant that provides guidance around the clock. Pilgrims can use voice commands to find facilities such as drinking-water points and darshan entry points. The app also supports offline navigation, enabling its use in areas with weak or no internet connectivity.

Venkatadri maps more than 350 locations across 25 facility categories. These include drinking-water points, hospitals and medical centres, parking areas, public toilets, bus stops, darshan entry points, luggage centres, free footwear-deposit centres, food outlets and canteens, room-allotment counters, pilgrim help desks, TTD offices and sub-enquiry offices, Kalyana Kattas, police stations, vigilance offices, temple surroundings and shopping complexes, Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex etc.

The app provides one-touch access to emergency contacts, the police and the TTD helpline. It also displays bus routes and timings. The “Mark My Spot” feature enables pilgrims to save their parking location or another important place and navigate back to it.

Available in five languages viz.Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, Venkatadri is intended to make pilgrims’ journeys around Tirumala easier and more convenient. 

TTD is also developing kiosk access for pilgrims without smartphones. TTD said the initiative aims to provide devotees with convenient access to directions and essential information, contributing to a comfortable and peaceful darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

The Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and NRI Philanthropist Sri JP from the USA explained the functioning of the Venkatadri mobile app to the Honourable CM of AP who later congratulated TTD efforts for developing a pilgrim friendly app.

The skillful performances by various artistes hailing from different states of the country have been immensely attracting devotees who are not only witnessing them live along the galleries of four mada streets in Tirumala during Vahana Sevas but to tens of thousands of devotees across globe who are enjoying them on screen, said the officers of respective Dharmic Projects of TTD.

A press briefing along with the officials of various projects of TTD was held at Media Centre in Rambhageecha 2 on Monday. Addressing the media persons Dr Medasani Mohan, the Secretary Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and special officer of Annamacharya Project said, in addition to various states that performed during annual brahmotsavams, the NRI artistes from Singapore and Germany have also showcased their skills. During Navaratri Brahmotsavams, besides Indian states, artistes from Qatar, Dubai and Australia are also set to perform and enthrall devotees. He said a total of 40 troupes comprising 1200 artistes will be performing during the ongoing brahmotsavams on behalf of Annamacharya Project while 781 artistes from 31 troupes will represent HDPP.

Dr PR Anandatheerthacharyulu, the special officer of Dasa Sahitya Project of TTD said, the cultural teams are spreading the glory of Sri Venkateswara Swamy with their artistic performances across the world and offering "Kala Seva"(cultural service) during the brahmotsavams. 39 teams comprising nearly 1000 artistes will be performing their skills during the vahana sevas.

Dr Uma Muddubala, the Principal of SV College of Music and Dance said, the college of Indian Traditional Fine Arts which was opened in the year 1959 has successfully completed its 75 glorious years so far producing many world-renowned personalities in the field of Kuchipudi, Bharatnatyam, vocal, instrumental music, Harikatha. Today we have over 2500 pupils undergoing training in the college in 13 fine art fields. She said a total of 59 teams comprising 1500 students will perform their artforms during the Navaratri Brahmotsava Vahana Sevas.

తిరుమలలో జరుగుతున్న నవరాత్రి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో వివిధ రాష్ట్రాలు, విదేశాలకు చెందిన కళాకారులు తమ అద్భుత ప్రదర్శనలతో భక్తులను అలరిస్తున్నారని టీటీడీ ధార్మిక ప్రాజెక్టుల అధికారులు తెలిపారు. నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో వాహన సేవల సందర్భంగా ప్రత్యక్షంగా ప్రదర్శనలను వీక్షిస్తున్న భక్తులతోపాటు, ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా భక్తులు టీవీ, డిజిటల్ మాధ్యమాల ద్వారా ఈ కార్యక్రమాలను వీక్షిస్తున్నారని పేర్కొన్నారు.

సోమవారం తిరుమలలోని రాంభగీచా-2 మీడియా సెంటర్‌లో టీటీడీ ధార్మిక ప్రాజెక్టుల అధికారులతో కలిసి నిర్వహించిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో వారు మాట్లాడారు.

హిందూ ధర్మ ప్రచార పరిషత్‌ కార్యదర్శి, అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రత్యేకాధికారి డా. మేడసాని మోహన్ మాట్లాడుతూ, వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో దేశంలోని వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల కళాబృందాలతోపాటు సింగపూర్‌, జర్మనీకి చెందిన ప్రవాస భారతీయ కళాకారులు కూడా తమ ప్రతిభను చాటారని తెలిపారు. నవరాత్రి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో ఖతార్‌, దుబాయ్‌, ఆస్ట్రేలియా నుంచి వచ్చే కళాకారులు కూడా తమ ప్రదర్శనలతో భక్తులను అలరించనున్నారని చెప్పారు.

అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్టు ఆధ్వర్యంలో 40 కళాబృందాలకు చెందిన 1,200 మంది కళాకారులు, హిందూ ధర్మ ప్రచార పరిషత్‌ ఆధ్వర్యంలో 31 బృందాలకు చెందిన 781 మంది కళాకారులు తమ ప్రదర్శనలు ఇవ్వనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

దాస సాహిత్య ప్రాజెక్టు

టీటీడీ దాస సాహిత్య ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రత్యేకాధికారి డా. పి.ఆర్. ఆనందతీర్థాచార్యులు మాట్లాడుతూ, కళాకారులు తమ ప్రదర్శనల ద్వారా శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి వైభవాన్ని ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా చాటుతూ, బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో కళాసేవ అందిస్తున్నారని తెలిపారు. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు ఆధ్వర్యంలో 39 బృందాలకు చెందిన సుమారు 1,000 మంది కళాకారులు వాహన సేవల సమయంలో ప్రదర్శనలు ఇవ్వనున్నారని చెప్పారు.

శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర సంగీత, నృత్య కళాశాల

శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర సంగీత, నృత్య కళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్‌ డా. ఉమా ముద్దుబాల మాట్లాడుతూ, 1959లో ప్రారంభమైన ఈ కళాశాల భారతీయ సాంప్రదాయ కళల అభివృద్ధికి విశేషంగా కృషి చేస్తోందన్నారు.

కూచిపూడి, భరతనాట్యం, శాస్త్రీయ గాత్ర సంగీతం, వాద్య సంగీతం, హరికథ తదితర కళారంగాల్లో ఎంతోమంది ప్రతిభావంతులను తీర్చిదిద్దిందని తెలిపారు.

ప్రస్తుతం 13 కళారంగాల్లో 2,500 మందికి పైగా విద్యార్థులు శిక్షణ పొందుతున్నారని, నవరాత్రి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో కళాశాల విద్యార్థులకు చెందిన 59 బృందాల్లోని సుమారు 1,500 మంది తమ కళాప్రదర్శనలతో భక్తులను అలరించనున్నారని వివరించారు.

ఈ సమావేశంలో టీటీడీ పీఆర్వో (ఎఫ్‌ఏసీ) కుమారి నీలిమ పాల్గొన్నారు.
