Lord Rama Enchants Devotees Gaja Vhana Seva

As part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Tirupati, the Lord graced devotees on Sunday evening at 7 PM, riding on the Gaja Vahana (elephant mount), captivating all with divine splendor.

As majestic elephants, bulls, and horses led the procession, bhajan groups performed devotional singing and kolatam dances. The Lord was taken in a grand procession through the four Mada streets surrounding the temple.

In Sanatana Dharma, the elephant mount holds special significance. Whether in battlefields, royal courts, or festive occasions, the elephant occupies a place of prominence. In this sacred Vahana Seva, just as Gajendra carries the Lord, devotees are reminded to carry Lord Kodandarama in the sanctum of their hearts and thereby receive His divine grace.

Among those present during the Vahana Seva were Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Temple Deputy Executive Officer Smt. Nagaratna, Temple Inspector Sri Suresh, priests, and a large number of devotees.
