Free Operations Under Arogyasree and Ayushman Bharat

 TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said TTD with thr blessings of Srivaru has granted rebirth to 729 ailing infants through successful heart operations at Sri Padmavati Children's Hrudayalaya during last one year.


Addressing a media conference at the hospital on Tuesday the TTD EO said the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy launched the hospital on this day October 11 2021 last year with 70 beds and three operation theatres.


The hospital has earned a good name as one among 10 best health Centers in the  country to get treatment under Arogyasree  scheme for AP and Ayushman Bharat schemes for patients of other states.


He said TTD formulated the Sri Venkateswara Apanna Hrudayalaya  scheme to attract donations towards the  heart operations which cost 1 lakh and above for each procedures.


He said the donors for the scheme could get benefit of 5 VIP break tickets and till date nearly 150 donors have contributed and each would earn the good will of facilitating heart treatment for one child.

He said TTD has also applied for Jeevan Daan License.


TTD EO said the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy had performed Bhumi Puja for the new building for the SP Hrudayalaya with 350 beds on May 5 2022 which will be ready in next two years at a cost of 320 crore.


He said TTD had successfully procured 160 crore through donors of 1 crore each for the hospital and as a token the Udayasthamana Seva tickets have been allotted to them.


He said plans were afoot to link the SVIMS, BIRRD and SP Hrudayalaya with a state of the art centralised lab to provide quicker and quality medical services to poor.


He said patients from Tirupati and other regions could utilise the services of latest CT Scan and X-rays installed in BIRRD hospital at affordable rates.


SP Hrudayalaya Director Dr Srinath Reddy said a team of 30 heart specialists have been providing continuous services for children and urged parents to bring their children for treatment to hospital on time.


He said heart surgeons from top ten hospitals of the country are keen to serve for free in the Hrudayalaya. He said  fellowships affiliated to SVIMS would be introduced in Paediatric and Anaesthesia.

Cancer Awareness Program for TTD Women Employees Commences

 TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said on Friday that consumption of Go-based organic products along with yoga and meditation would usher a cancer-free society 


He was addressing a three-day cancer awareness program for TTD women employees organized by SVETA at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati.


Speaking as chief guest TTD EO said women needed awareness on cancer symptoms for early diagnosis and timely treatment.


He said mother’s eating organic food could ensure 100% immunity and the TTD board was promoting the purchase of 12 organic products by paying organic farmers more than market prices.


He called upon all TTD women employees to give up consumption of non-veg and regularly watch the Yoga darshan program on the SVBC channel for improving their health. "If a mother in the family is healthy, then the entire society will be healthy", he asserted.


Film actress and Life Again Foundation Founder Smt Gautami said cancer had no age limit and could be addressed by rejecting pesticide-based food consumption and following healthy life habits. Responding to questions she said she was a standing example to show that cancer was curable and explained her experience in battling with cancer and overcoming the dreadful disease.


TTD JEO (H&E) Smt Sada Bhargavi said TTD had prioritized on women employee's health and hence the cancer awareness program. She said a healthy lifestyle and Ayurveda, Siddha and Yoga practices keep everyone healthy and away from cancer.


SVIMS Director Dr Vengamma said with the latest innovations cancer is curable and soon personalised Medicare including vaccine will be available in India too.


She stressed on annual cancer scanning for every woman crossing 40 years.


TTD Delhi local advisory committee President Smt Vemireddy Prashanti said the majority of women faces breast cancer which with early detection is curable. Confidence and willpower are the best antidotes to cancer, she observed.


SVETA Director Smt Prashanti and a large number of TTD women officials and employees were present.


The cultural programmes by students of SV College of Music and Dance provided feast to the spectators.

e-Rakt Kosh Held in Aswini





Following the clarion call given by the Ministry of Health, Government of India, e-Rakt Kosh, a Mega Blood Donation camp was organised in Aswini Hospital of TTD in Tirumala on Saturday.


According to the Medical Superintendent of Aswini Hospital, Dr Kusuma Kumari e-Rakt Kosh is an initiative to connect, digitize and streamline the workflow of blood banks across the nation.

Both TTD staff and the pilgrim public also actively participated in the Mega Blood Donation Camp held in Aswini Hospital.

Blood Bank Medical Officer Dr Padamaja and Dr Pratap of Apollo Cardiac Centre were also present.

Mingling Ayur with Astro Will Give Good Results - Dr KSR Prasad



By mingling Ayurveda with Astrology will yield good results said Dr KSR Prasad, the Principal of Mirzapur Ayurveda College, Uttar Pradesh.

 

He was giving a guest lecture on Ayur and Astro sciences and their proximity at SV Ayurveda college in Tirupati on Monday he said, both Ayurveda and Astrology originated from Vedas.

 

"If we mingle both these sciences miracles might happen on human health. We can promote resistance power. So Ayurvedic doctors are now choosing Medical Astrology and doing miracles in the area of health, he added.

 

He said in his 15 years of research, by mingling both, he could able to cure many diseases among children viz. Autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome etc.

 

Principal of SV Ayurveda College Dr Muralikrishna, Vice-principal Dr Sundaram, Dr Harshavardan, students were also present.

Action Plan for Infants Heart Transplantgs Too In Pedeatric Hospital

 Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Special CS, CMO has urged TTD officials to prepare an action plan for carrying out heart transplantation operations too at Sri Padmavati Hridayalaya Paediatric Hospital in next three months.

 

He was Interacting via virtual platform from his office in Tadepalli with TTD top brass who included EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Nageswar Rao and others on Tuesday.

 

Speaking on the occasion Dr Reddy said that the Children hospital got up with special focus of Honourable AP CM Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy had in last six months completed 400 heart surgeries at the rate of 20 operations per week.

 

Dr Reddy urged officials to step up activities to complete the ongoing development works in the new building of the hospital.

 

The former TTD EO has also said TTD should take lead to set up a a model Desi Cow Breeding Centre with the coordination of all Goshalas across the state making them as satellite Goshalas integrating them with SV Goshala.

 

He instructed officials to complete exercise to gather desi cows from all over country by December this year so as to provide 4000 litters of milk and ghee for Srivari temple routine and also speed up works in setting up ghee making Plant.

 

Among others he also advised TTD officials to donate cows to organic farmers and avoid sending animals to abattoirs, launch production at Ayurveda pharmacy by August 15, provide 20% discounts on sale of TTD Panchagavya products, sell TTD products online and also complete fodder plant at SV Goshala on war footing.

 

He said to promote environment protection in Tirumala, 50 electric buses plying between Tirumala-Tirupati will be launched by APSRTC from September and another 50 buses from November onwards. Even free electric buses should be operated at Tirumala.

 

In order to conserve energy, Dr Reddy also asked TTD officials for setting up meters at all rest houses in Tirumala and the TTD engineering department should adopt the Mbook system at the earliest.

 

He also instructed officials to speed up design work for construction of Srivari temple at Mumbai, achieve NAAC recognition to TTD colleges, complete student information system app, process house site allotment for TTD employees by depositing required funds with government.

TTD Eo Inspects Sri Padmavati Children and Sri Venkateswara Tata Cancer Hospitals









TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on Sunday inspected the locations of Sri Padmavati Super Specialty hospital and Sri Venkateswara Tata cancer hospital in Tirupati.

 

As the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the Children's hospital and inaugurate the Tata cancer hospital on May 5, the inspected the ongoing arrangements for the same.

 

Speaking later at the BIRRD complex, the EO said the Children’s super Specialty Hospital to be built by TTD at a cost of 240 crore has seven departments.

 

He said the Tata cancer hospital is ready to provide quality cancer Medicare. TTD also has plans to upgrade the Cancer Care Centre at SVIMS to serve the people of Rayalaseema.

 

He said the CM will also inaugurate a Smile Train ward for Children with cleft palate and hearing impairment.

 

TTD EO said with all these medical institutions Tirupati is all set to become a Medical Hub in South India.

Women Health Awareness Class Held



As a part of awareness on women's health, a class with expert doctors was held to TTD women employees at the SVETA building in Tirupati on Saturday.

 

Renowned Doctors including Dr Alladi Mohan, Amara Hospital MD Dr G Ramadevi, Ruia Superintendent Dr Bharati, SVIMS Oncologist Dr Bhargavi, SV Ayurvedic College Asst. Prof. Dr Swarnalata, Nutritionist Smt P Deepti took different sessions for women employees.

 

SVETA Director Smt Prasanti was also present.

Priority to Ayurveda R&D - HRD Ex DG Chakrapani

 Former Director-General of Human Resources Development, Sri D Chakrapani on Wednesday called upon students, teachers, and researchers in the Ayurveda stream to focus on and prioritize Research and development for the betterment of the society.

 

Addressing Ayurveda students after a visit to the Sri Venkateswara Ayurveda College on Wednesday evening, the visiting dignitary urged them to utilize the Government Research Institutions for the sake of Ayurveda medical research and procure international recognition for their research works.

 

Emphasizing the need for basic research and the spread of Ayurveda medicine in rural areas, he lamented that the present system did not promote the spread of Ayurveda in rural areas. He urged Ayurveda students to adopt villages and spread awareness and its significance among the rural population.

 

He also exhorted them to coordinate with Allopapathy doctors who are enthusiastic to promote Ayurveda research to achieve quality results faster.

 

Dr. Murali Krishna, the Principal of SV Ayurveda College highlighted the research works done by PG students in coordination with SV veterinary University.

 

Vice-Principal Dr. Sundaram, Dr. Sunila, and a large number of students were present.

NCISM Lauds TTD Ayur Services





The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) has lauded the services of TTD Ayurveda to the needy.

 

The Director of NCISM who visited SV Ayurvedic College and Hospital on Wednesday evening observed the services being offered to the patients. He later interacted with the students, faculty, doctors and Hospital staff and said the new Ayurvedic syllabus will give the Nation young Ayurvedic Physicians which is useful for future India in a big way.

 

He also happened to see the modern equipment and their functioning was explained by Principal Dr Muralikrishna.

 

Later he paved a visit to Panchagavya Manufacturing Unit. Dr Muralikrishna also explained the NCISM Chief the Panchagavya products which have already received AYUSH licence and the also those which yet to be approved.

 

Vice Principal Dr Sundaram, Dr Dorothy, Dr Renu Dikshit were also present.

Health Cloud System for TTD Hospitals Soon




As a part of its savour for IT initiative for a better administration, TTD is all set to launch Health Cloud System for all its Hospitals soon.

 

A review meeting in this regard with IT experts of TTD and Kare Experts Technologies(Jio) was held in Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati on Saturday by TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

 

Through a detailed Power Point Presentation, the Kare team explained the EO the benefits of the Health Cloud System which is an advanced digitalization platform in Health Care System with faster patient data processing and queue management, enabling quicker service to more patients besides ensuring them quality treatment.

 

Later the EO said this next gen technology will take the quality Medicare to the door steps of the patients. The TTD Health Cloud System will be launched in the month of July initially with SVIMS and Sri Padmavathi Children's Hospitals and will be extended to all the TTD-run hospitals in a phased manner.

SVIMS and TATA Cancer Hospital to Become Regional Cancer Centers - TTD Eo














TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy said on Sunday that AP Government has decided to elevate the SVIMS hospital and Tata cancer hospital at Tirupati into regional cancer Centers.

 

Speaking after his visit to the Oncology wing of SVIMS and Tata cancer hospital under construction on Sunday, he said eminent cancer specialist and Advisor to AP Government Dr Nori Dattatreyudu had visited both hospitals and made valuable suggestions to State officials to make them regional cancer centres.

 

He said while the Tata cancer hospital is likely to be inaugurated by May 1st week, TTD is expeditiously organising recruitment of medical staff and equipment for the Oncology department at SVIMS.
