TTD Chairman Invites Kanchi Seer for Sri Yagam



TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Friday evening invited Kanchi Peetham Pontiff Sri Vijayendra Saraswati Mahaswami for the ongoing Sri Yagam at Tiruchanoor.

 

The TTD Board Chief called on the Seer at the latter's Mutt in Tirupati. He explained to the Pontiff the purpose of Yagam which is being performed after a gap of five decades.

 

The Pontiff also accepted the invitation and said he would definitely take part in Sri Yagam.

Nava Kundatmaka Sri Yagam Held at Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple

 For the time after 50 years, seeking global harmony and prosperity, Nava Kundatmaka Sri Yagam began on a grand religious note in the Sri Krishna Mukta Mandapam at Sri Padmavati temple in Tiruchanoor on Friday morning.


The seven-day fete was supervised by Agama Advisor Sri Vempalli Srinivasacharyulu in Ekantam in view of covid guidelines and live telecasted by in SVBC channel for the sake of global devotees till January 27.


As part of the fete, Sankalp Yagam was performed at 9.30 am followed by Homas, Chatustapanarchana, Agni pratista, Nitya purnahuti, Nivedana, Veda vinnapam, Maha Mangala Arathi.


Similarly in the evening also these rituals will be performed to the utsava idol of Ammavaru and later return to the sanctum.


GOLDEN NECKLACE PRESENTED BY CHAIRMAN COUPLE


The holy and majestic Yagam was performed at Tiruchanoor Ammavari temple after a gap of 50 years and on this auspicious occasion, TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with his better half Smt Swarnalatha presented 34-gram necklace to Goddess Padmavati.


Deputy EO Smt Kasturi Bai, AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy, Archaka Sri Babu swami and others were present.

TTD Mulls Development of Anjanadri Tirumala





 TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy has instructed the officials concerned to come up with a concrete action plan on the development of Anjanadri Tirumala before February 15.

 

A review meeting on various subjects was held in Sri Padmavathi Rest House at Tirupati on Thursday wherein Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and Tirupati JEO Sri Veerabrahmam also participated. 

 

Earlier, TTD CE Sri Nageswara Rao presented a PPP on the outlay of Anjanadri Hills, Hanuman Birthplace etc. The EO instructed the Engineering officials to come out walkthrough plan on Anjanadri.

 

It may be mentioned here that TTD has declared Anjanadri near Akasa Ganga area located as the Birth place of Sri Anjaneya Swamy, with strong evidence from Puranas, Sastras, and Epigraphies by a team of scholars.

 

Earlier review meetings were also held separately on Sri Padmavathi Paediatric Cardiac Hospital in Tirupati and Tarigonda Vengamamba Dhyana Mandiram at Tirumala.

 

The EO directed the officials concerned to come out with an action plan on the Vengamamba Dhyana Mandiram before February 7 after thoroughly visiting the site.

 

Art Director Sri Ananda Sai, Former Board Member Sri Muralikrishna were present.

 

The EO instructed the officials to submit a Detailed Project Report (DPR) on February 15 about the works with respect to Paediatric Cardiac Hospital.

 

FACAO Sri Balaji, Chief Audit Officer and CS RMO Sri Sesha Sailendra, Director of Paediatric Hospital Dr Srinath Reddy were present.

 

Unique Yagam Performed After 50 years at Tiruchanoor - TTD Chairman

 The Ankurarpana fete for Sri Yagam was held at Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam in Padmavathi Ammavaru temple at Tiruchanoor on Thursday evening as per the tenets of Pancharatra Agama.

 

Speaking to media on the occasion, TTD Board Chief Sri YV Subba Reddy said, seeking the divine intervention for world  peace  and  prosperity from the health and economic ill impacts caused by Corona Pandemic, TTD mulled this week-long unique Sri Yagam upon the suggestion of the Agama Pundits. "According to Archakas, almost after five decades, this Yagam is being performed in the temple. For the sake of global devotees, this yagam will be telecasted live on SVBC upto January 27.

 

He said, though TTD thought of allowing public for this unique Yagam, the increase in Corona cases has forced them to perform in Ekantam. "However we are confident that this Yaga will provide relief and solace from all evils making everyone happy with the benign blessings of Padmavathi Ammavaru", he asserted.

 

Temple DyEO Smt Kasturi Bai, AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy and other temple staff were also present.

Ankurarpanam at Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple on 20th Jan for Sri Yagam Fete from 21st to 27th Jan

 TTD is organising Ankurarpanam on January 20 at Sri Padmavati Temple, Tiruchanoor in connection with the Sri Yagam fete for the well-being of humanity from January 21-27.


In view of covid guidelines, the event will be performed in Ekantha at the Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam with Sri P Srinivasan as Pradhana Archaka and the proceedings will be telecasted live by the SVBC.


The Sri Yagam rituals will be held from January 22 onwards after initiation activities on January 21.


In view of the glorious fete from January 20-27 TTD has cancelled all arjita sevas viz. Kalyanotsavam and Unjal seva from January 20-27 and break Darshan on January 20,21 and 27.


Meritorious Awards to 15 Vigilance Staff





 TTD CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti on Wednesday presented meritorious awards to 15 Security and vigilance staff at the PAC-4 command control room in Tirumala.

 

The awards were given to best performers who assisted devotees during heavy rains at GNC toll gate, Ghat roads, rescuing missing children and aged persons and reuniting them with their families, returning missing cellphones and gold ornaments after investigations through CCTV footage back to its owners etc.

 

VGO Sri Bali Reddy, all sector AVSOs and VIs of Tirumala and others were also present.
