All Set for Hanuman Jayanti







TTD has made elaborate arrangements to observe Hanuman Jayanti festivities in a big way on Sunday at different places in Tirumala.


The special abhishekam to Bedi Anjaneya Swamy, Anjanadevo sameta Balanjaneya Swamy at Akasaganga will be observed in the morning while the special puja to Seventh mile giant Anjaneya statue at 3pm. In Japali also, TTD will present Sare as it is a traditional practice.


While in Nada Neerajanam platform, religious discourses by various peethadhipathis on each till May 18 will be organised. On May 16, Sampoorna Akhanda Sundarakanda Parayanam is scheduled to take place between 6am to 11pm at Dharmagiri.


Mass Cleaning Program of Suddha Tirumala - Sundara Tirumala A Huge Success

The mass cleaning program of Suddha Tirumala-Sundara Tirumala mulled by TTD to make both ghat roads and footpath routes plastic free, was a huge success, with many elites taking part voluntarily with enthusiasm.


The programme commenced at Alipiri at 6am on Saturday with former CJI Justice NV Ramana flagging off the event. Over 700 employees from TTD, nearly 200 staff from District Administration, TMC, Swachandhra Corporation, Srivari Sevaks have participated in this mass cleaning activity which is divided into various sectors in both the up and down ghat roads as well in Alipiri and Srivarimettu footpath routes. 


Former CJI along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy did the activity at 7th Mile Anjaneya Statue while the District Collector Sri Venkataramana Reddy and his team performed at Alipiri in Upghat road from 18km to 15km.


Swachandrapradesh Corporation Advisor Sri Jayaprakash Sai and his team performed from 15km to 12km in upghat which was being supervised by JEO Sri Veerabrahmam. While the downghat road mass cleaning works were carried out under the supervision of JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi. The TMC Commissioner Smt Harita and her team participated in the mass cleaning at Mokalimettu while District SP Sri Parameshwar Reddy and CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore in the Alipiri Footpath route. The Srivarimettu route activities were supervised by CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar and his team. 


In this mass cleaning drive a total of about 1600 bags of plastic wastes have been lifted which included 580 in first ghat road(down), 680 in second(upghat), around 300 in Alipiri and 70 in Srivarimettu routes. 


Among other officials who participated in this mass cleaning of Tirumala routes drive includes DLO Sri Veeraju, FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, CAuO Sri Seshasailendra and other HoDs.




















Maha Shanti Tirumanjanam Held









In connection with Maha Samprokshanam ritual in the historical Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Kapila Theertham in Tirupati on Sunday,  Maha Shanti Homam was observed on Saturday.


Purifactory rituals like Panchagavyadhivasam, Ksheeradhivasam, Jaladhivasam, Bimbasthapana, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam were performed.


Vaikhanasa Agama Advisor Sri Mohana Rangacharyulu, DyEO Sri Devendra Babu and other temple staff were present.

Annamacharya Sankeertans Volume2 Released





TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy as released Annamacharya Sankeertans Volume 2 consisting of over 500 new songs with Artha Tatparya Sahita Vyakhyanam.


The release event took place at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday. Speaking on the occasion the EO said almost after 100years TTD has taken up the compilation of new songs from Annamacharya kritis by constituting a team of renowned scholars. In a year's time over 1000 new songs were brought out in the form of two volumes ", he added.


JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, Sri Narasimha Kishore, Annamacharya Project Director Sri Vibhishana Sharma, Scholars Sri Sarvottama Rao, Sri Syamalananda Prasad, Sri Peram Naidu, Smt Malaya Vasini, Sri Ramakrishna, Astana Vidwan Sri Balakrishna Prasad, donor and publisher of the book Sri Grandhi Rajesh and others were present.


Central and State IB Teams to Visit Tirumala Next Week - TTD Eo





The massive mass cleaning of Ghat Roads and Footpath routes program taken up by TTD on May 13 will be attended by former Chief Justice of India, Justice NV Ramana, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


Speaking to media persons after the Dial your EO program at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday, the EO said, in Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala program, so far about 6000 employees and nearly 3000 srivari sevaks have voluntarily participated in the last 12 days and successfully carried out the cleaning mission. "On Saturday, in the mass plastic-free Tirumala program, along with the TTD employees, district and police, corporation departments are also taking part expressing their solidarity to the TTD program. "District Collector, SP, Joint Collector, Swachandhra Pradesh Corporation Advisor, Commissioner, Judges and many more are also taking part in the program voluntarily", he added.


"We have divided the up and down ghats and both the footpath routes into various sectors and deployed in-charge officials for each sector. In up ghat nearly 15 supporting staff for every sector and down ghat 30 will be there in the mass cleaning", he maintained.


On Ananda Nilayam video leak on social media, the EO said, a devotee from Khammam by name Rahul Reddy was caught hold by TTD vigilance through the CCTV footage and he will be interrogated by Tirupati police. "Action will be initiated against the on-duty security staff at the scanning areas for the lapse checking on that day. The CVSO is also instructed to study a more mechanised and quick way of checking akin to the Airport Model so that we can provide darshan to not less than 5000-5500 devotees in an hour after thorough checking in the scan area. For that we have also consulted Central and State IB teams who will be visiting Tirumala by next week", he maintained.


Both the JEOs Sri Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore and others were present.


Problem Free Maha Angapradakshinam for Devotees Will Be Ensured - TTD Eo





TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Friday informed devotees that arrangements will be ensured for hassle free Maha Angapradakshinam.


Answering a pilgrim caller from Tamilnadu who brought to the notice of EO about not allowing pilgrims who wish to perform Maha Angapradakshinam and also requested EO to open Swamy Pushkarini round the clock to which EO readily agreed for the same.


Answering another caller about the release of darshan and accommodation online, the EO said, henceforth every month lucky dip arjita seva tickets will be registered between 18-20 and payments for the tickets allotted in electronic dip shall be made between 20-22. General Arjita Seva tickets will be released on 21 every month while Aged and Physically Challenged, SRIVANI, Anga Pradakshinam on 23. The Rs.300 SED tickets will be released on 24 and every month. On 25th of every month accommodation quotation will be released.


Many other devotees complained to the EO about non receiving of CD refund to which EO replied that there is no issue or delay on the side of TTD. However it will be verified 

and rectified soon if any.


Similarly queries on enhancing the quality of Laddu and Annaprasadam, Akshatalu for Shatamanambhavati devotees, Govindarajan Namalu to the pillars in Alipiri footpath route etc. Answering all queries, EO said measures will be initiated soon and required facilities will be ensured to devotees.

"Do Not Fall Prey to Fake Websites - EO TO Devotees

 "Do not fall prey to fake websites for booking Darshan, Accommodation and Donation services, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Friday in an appeal to devotees through the Dial your EO, live phone-in program as platform.


The EO attended to 31 pilgrim callers from across the country in the program held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala. Before taking the calls from the pilgrims, he briefed on the important development activities and upcoming religious events for the information of the global devotees. Some excerpts:


Devotees shall have to book their darshan or accommodation or donation only through TTD official website, tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in If they come across any fraudulent website, inform call centre on 155257


Hanuman Jayanti Utsavams for five days in Tirumala from May 14-18 with religious discourses by a Pontiff on each day starting with Tuni Tapovanam Sri Sachidananda Swamy, followed by Sri Siddheswarananda Bharati Swamy of Kurtalam, Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamy of Kanchi, Sri Mahadesikan Swamy of Ahobilam and Pushpagiri Peethadhipathi Sri Vidya Shankara Bharati will render Anugraha Bhashanam on the auspicious occasion.


Balakanda Parayanam which commenced on July 21 last will conclude on May 15. On May 16, Sampurna Akhanda Sundarakanda Parayanam at Dharmagiri and from May 17 onwards Ayodhyakanda commences on Nada Neerajanam platform.


Footwear-keeping centres commenced at Tirumala at ATC, KKC main and Annaprasadam Complex. A few more to come up at Vaikuntham, Narayanagiri, Rambhageecha, PACs etc.


The Srivari temple constructed in the agency area at Seetampeta opened after Maha Samprokshanam and the one at Rampachodavaram is ready for Maha Samprokshanam on May 22. Similarly the Srivari temple at Jammu will be open for darshan to devotees from June 8 onwards. More temples are coming up in Mumbai, Raipur, Ahmedabad in near future.


The Maha Samprokshanam of the ancient temple of Sri Lakshmi Narayana in Sri Kaplieswara Swamy temple will be observed on May 14.


The Singhania Group has adopted the TTD-run SV High School in Tirumala and improved the quality of education standards. A few more TTD schools are also under the pipeline. All TTD institutions have acquired the prestigious NAAC A+ certification and kudos to our JEO, DEO and all principals and faculty for their efforts


The Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala mass cleaning programme taken up by TTD when 1600 sanitary workers went on a lighting strike, set an example on how to join hands and work at a time when situation demands or during a crisis period. Every day nearly 500 employees along with Srivari Sevaks voluntarily took part in the mass cleaning programme with dedication.


With the inspiration, Plastic Free Tirumala mission will be carried out in a big way involving employees of TTD, district administration, police, TMC on May 13 wherein both the ghats and footpaths will be deployed in mass cleaning.

Annamaiah Songs Are The Essence of Vedas in Local Slang

With a noble aim to propagate the great values embedded in Vedas to reach every common man, Saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya penned 32000 Sankeertans, said Dr Malayavasini of Andhra University.

615th Jayanti celebrations of Annamacharya at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati, she said Annamacharya preached Nava Vidha Bhakti Margams in his sankeertans and made the people to choose righteous path in their lives.


Rajamundry's Andhra Yuvati Sanskrit College Principal Dr Peram Naidu, Hyderabad-based Jeeyar Educational Trust Chairman Sri Ranga Ramanujacharya also spoke on the occasion. Earlier Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Asthanam was also performed.

Tataiahgunta Gangamma Varotrsavams In A Big Way By TTD - TTD JEO(H&E)








The JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi on Friday said that the famous folk festival of Sri Tataiahgunta Gangamma Varotsavams will be observed in a grand manner by TTD in Tirupati from next year onwards. 


Speaking in the SVETA workshop on the importance of Gangamma Jatara to TTD employees, the JEO said the Varotsavams of Ganga Jatara will be observed in Mahati Auditorium signifying its everyday importance. She also said, the local legislator Sri Karunakar Reddy has taken all efforts to popularise the importance of this famous folk festival across the country and with his initiative, the State Government has declared Tirupati Ganga Jatara as a State Festival which is a moment of pride to every denizen of the temple city.


TTD Trust Board Member Sri Ashok Kumar said, TTD chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and all the members have supported the decision of the Tirupati MLA in his initiative to declare Gangamma Jatara of Tirupati as a state festival. 


Kendra Sahitya Academy Awardee Dr Madhurantakam Narendra and others also spoke on the occasion.

Maha Samprokshanam Rituals Commence







The Maha Samprokshanam rituals in the historical sub-shrine of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple commenced in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Friday.


On May 14, Maha Samprokshanam will be observed at 9am followed by Darshanam to devotees.


TTD Trust Board member Sri Ashok Kumar, one of the chief priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venu Gopala Deekshitulu, DyEO Sri Devendra Babu, Agama Advisor Sri Mohana Rangacharyulu, AEO Sri Parthasaradi, Superintendent Sri Bhupati and others were present.

Sponsor Remaining Laddu Counters Too - Eo To Bankers





TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy directed the IT wing officials of TTD to develop Parakamani Management System app exclusively to carry out the foreign currency validation.


Reviewing on the Parakamani activities with the DyEO Parakamani and Bank officials representing various banks at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati on Thursday the EO directed the concerned to lift the pending currency notes and coins on a fast pace. The EO also directed the IT GM Sri Sandeep Reddy to develop an exclusive Parakamani Management System Application for the clearance of Foreign Currency and handing them over to the SBI in a transparent manner as per the guidelines of MHA. 


Later the EO also instructed to clear the pending soiled, uncurrent notes and asked the respective bankers to arrange to lift them without any delay.


Earlier a review meeting on Laddu Counters also took place along with the bankers. Apart from the existing 30 counters which are being sponsored by various banks, the EO asked the bankers to sponsor the remaining counters also.
