Astotthara Shatakalaasabhishekam held in Sri Kodandaramalayam
Astottara Shatakalasabhishekam was held in splendour on the occasion of Pournami in Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Tirupati on Monday.
As part of this, sacred waters in 108 Kalasas were rendered to the Utsavamurtis in the Kalyana Mandapam of the temple from 9 am to 10.30 am.
On this occasion, at 5.30pm, a procession of the idols of Sri Kodandarama Swami along with Sri Sita Lakshmana will be held in the four Mada streets of the temple.
From there Sri Ramachandra will be taken to Pushkarini and Unjal Seva will be performed. After that pushkarini Harati was performed.
Temple Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, Superintendent Sri. Somasekhar, Temple Inspectors Sri Chalapathy, Sri Suresh and a large number of devotees participated in this program.
More Than 24 thousand Devotees Participate in Tumburu Tirtha Mukkoti
About 24000 devotees participated in Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti this year and took holy bath in torrent waters.
As the Pournami timings lasted both on March 24 and 25, TTD allowed pilgrim devotees to trek the Theerrham on both the days.
On March 24, a total of 15,750 devotees were allowed from 5am to 3pm ehile on March 25, 8,250 devotees were allowed from 5am to 11am.
These devotees performed Tirtha Snanm on the day of Phalguna Poornami.
Arrangements
Upon the instructions of TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, a large-scale arrangements for the convenience of devotees going to Tumburu Tirtham were made.
As part of this, morning and evening Pongal, upma, milk and buttermilk were provided continuously on both the days.
Similarly, in the afternoon and night Sambar rice, curd rice, tomato rice and pulihora were distributed to the devotees by the Srivari Sevaks.
The engineering department laid necessary sheds, ladders and drinking water taps have been installed in the middle of the path for the devotees.
Those suffering from chronic diseases, asthma, obesity and heart related diseases were not allowed to trek the Tirtham.
Devotees were allowed only in RTC buses due to parking problem at Papa Vinasanam.
The Radio and Broadcasting Department has made frequent announcements on the precautions to be taken by the devotees while going to Tumburu Tirtham through continuous announcements
Under the supervision of the Health Department, extra staff were appointed for sanitation at Tumburu Theertham and Papavinasanam.
Ambulances and paramedical staff were placed to serve the devotees in emergency situations with essential medicines.
On the other hand, TTD security department, police and forest department staff have made elaborate security arrangements.
The devotees expressed immense satisfaction over the food offerings, buttermilk, drinking water and other arrangements provided by TTD.

Teppotsavams Concludes
The annual Five day Teppotsavams concluded on a grand religious note in Tirumala on the pleasant Phalguna Pournami Sunday evening.
Devotees thronged the float festival in large number to witness Sri Malayappa, Sridevi and Bhudevi taking seven rounds in Swamy Pushkarini on the dazzling, colourfully decorated float amidst vedic chants, melam, devotional musical renditions.
HH Tirumala Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy and other officials were present.
Devotees Beeling to Turburu Theertham
In connection with Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti on March 25, TTD made elaborate arrangements for the trekkers from Sunday itself.
With Phalguna Suddha Pournami lasting both on Sunday and Monday, the devotees especially trekking lovers hailing from Southern India and Maharastra made a beeline to one of the most important torrents located in the dense interior wood of the Seshachala ranges.
The devotees were allowed to trek from 5am till 3pm on Sunday. TTD has made elaborate arrangements of the distribution of Annaprasadam packets, water, buttermilk to the trekking devotees with the help of Srivari Sevaks.
Medical teams, ORS packets, Ambulance were kept ready to attend emergency services if any.
Security guards and Forest personnel were deployed all through the trek path to ensure safety and security of devotees.
The devotees will also be allowed to trek Tumburu Theertham on Monday from 5am till 11am only.
