On the second day of the ongoing annual Vasanthotsavam in Tirumala, Sri Malayappa along with Sridevi and Bhudevi took out a celestial ride on the Golden Chariot.
The deities blessed devotees along the Mada streets between 8am and 10am.

Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the Utsava deities. The festival signifies a soothing feel to the deities in the hot summer with this special abhishekam and hence also known as Upasamanotsavam.

Sri Krishna Chaitanya Sangham president of East Godavari district Korukonda Sri Kalyana Apparao presented One crore Talambralu on Sunday for the Kalyanam of Sri Sitarama to be held at Vontimitta on Monday.
These talambralu weighing 180 kg were presented at the temple in the presence of Deputy EO Sri Natesh Babu and Priest Sri Shravan Kumar.
For these Talambralu, paddy was grown especially for six months and the devotees from four states prepared it by husking it with finger nail for three months with great devotion.
Sri Kalyana Apparao said that under the auspices of this association, they have been giving presentation to Bhadradri Rama for the past 13 years and Vontimitta Rama since last seven years on the occasion of Kalyanotsavam.
Superintendent Sri Hanumanthaiah, Temple Inspector Sri Naveen, other officials and a large number of devotees participated in this program.
The celestial Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam will be observed with utmost religious fervour on April 22 between 6:30pm and 8:30pm said TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam.
Along with the District Joint Collector Sri Ganesh Kumar, he inspected the galleries and other arrangements including Annaprasadam counters, drinking water facilities etc.
Speaking to the media he said this year the Talambralu will be distributed in the galleries itself while Annaprasadam after marriage.
He also said water points at the temple and Kalyana Vedika have also been arranged and toilets too for the sake of a multitude of devotees.
