Anivara Asthanam Marks Divine Owenership and Sacred Goverance

One of the ancient annual rituals in Tirumala temple, Anivara Asthanam will be observed on July 17.

The ritual symbolizes the offerings of temple accounts and keys to Sri  Venkateswara Swamy, thereby marking divine ownership and sacred governance, while in the evening Pushpa Pallaki is observed wherein Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi takes a celestial ride to bless His devotees along four mada streets.

TTD has cancelled arjita sevas for the day including Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva in connection with this traditional ritual.
