Ankurarpanam for Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Brahmostavams on 21st July

The annual Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Brahmotsavams at the ancient temple in Nandalur, Kadapa district, will begin with Ankurarpanam at 6 p.m. on July 21, followed by Dwajarohanam on the morning of July 22.

During the nine-day festival, the deity will bless devotees on different Vahana Sevas every day at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Special events include Arjita Kalyanotsavam on July 28, Rathotsavam on July 29, Chakrasnanam and Dhwajavarohanam on July 30, and Pushpayagam on July 31.

TTD has made elaborate arrangements, including drinking water, shelters, illumination, and decorations for devotees. Devotional music, Harikathas, Sankirtans, and cultural programmes will be organised daily by the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad, Annamacharya Project, and Dasa Sahitya Project.
