CHATURMASA DEEKSHA COMMENCES

The Chaturmasa Deeksha Sankalpam of Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyangar Swamy of Tirumala commenced on Wednesday with kalasa sthapana and other Agama rites at the Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swami Mutt. 

The Jeeyangars proceeded in a procession, paid respects at Swami Pushkarini and Sri Varahaswamy Temple, and were welcomed at the Mahadwaram of Tirumala temple by TTD EO Sri Muddada Ravichandra.

After the Darshan and other traditional rituals, Sri Pedda Jeeyangar received the Melchat Vastram and Sri Chinna Jeeyangar the Noolchat Vastram.

TTD board members and temple officials were also present.
