Sri Soumayanath Swamy Varu Blesses Devotees on Garuda Vahanam

The Garuda Vahana Seva of Sri Soumyanatha Swamy was held with great religious fervour on Sunday night as part of the annual Brahmotsavams at Nandalur.

Beautifully adorned, the deity was taken in a grand procession on Garuda Vahanam through the temple streets at 7 p.m., blessing thousands of devotees with His divine darshan. Devotees offered Harathi and chanted "Govinda... Govinda..." throughout the procession.

Garuda Vahana Seva holds a special place in the Vaishnavite tradition, symbolising devotion, surrender, wisdom and spiritual upliftment.

Temple Deputy EO Smt. Prashanthi, AEO Sri Ravi, Temple Inspector Sri Dileep, priests, officials and a large number of devotees participated in the event.
