As part of the annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Temple in Nandalur, the Lord blessed devotees on the Kalpavriksha Vahanam on the fourth day of the festivities on Saturday morning.
The Vahana Seva was held in a deeply devotional atmosphere with devotees chanting "Govinda", performing traditional Chekka Bhajans, Kolatam, and accompanied by auspicious temple music. Devotees offered Karpoora Harathi at every stage of the procession and received the divine blessings of the Lord.
According to Hindu scriptures, the Kalpavriksha is the celestial wish-fulfilling tree that grants all righteous desires. Seated on the Kalpavriksha Vahanam, Sri Soumyanatha Swamy is believed to bless devotees with prosperity, well-being, and all auspicious blessings. Large numbers of devotees participated in the sacred procession with devotion and faith.
On July 26, the Lord will bless devotees on the Sesha Vahanam in the morning and the Garuda Vahanam in the evening.
Temple AEO Sri Ravi, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthaiah, Temple Inspector Sri Dileep, temple priests, officials, and a large number of devotees participated in the Vahana Seva.
