SRAVAN UPAKARMA HELD AT SRI GOVINDARAJA SWAMY TEMPLE

Sravan Upakarma was held with devotion and grandeur at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Friday on the occasion of Sravan Purnima.

The rituals began at 4 am with Suprabhatam, Thomala Seva and Sahasranamarchana.

 Later, Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Krishna Swamy were taken in a procession to Alwar Theertham at Kapila Theertham, where Snapan Tirumanjanam and Asthanam were performed.

In the evening, Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sri Bhu Devi was taken in a procession to Sri Vaikhanasacharya Temple at R.S. Mada Street for Asthanam.

A large number of devotees participated and had the darshan of the Lord.
