The Sri Rama Pattabhishekam was celebrated with devotion and grandeur at Sri Pattabhirama Swamy Temple in Valmikipuram on Wednesday evening.
The day began with Suprabhatam, followed by Thomala Seva, Sahasranamarchana, Yagashala Puja and Snapana Tirumanjanam at 6.30 a.m. The processional deities of Sri Pattabhirama Swamy and Sita Devi were given a special abhishekam with milk, curd, honey, turmeric and sandalwood.
The Pattabhishekam was performed as per temple rituals. In the evening, after Oonjal Seva, Sri Pattabhirama Swamy blessed devotees on the Garuda Vahanam.
Temple officials, priests, staff and a large number of devotees participated in the celebrations.
