₹5.73 Cr Development Works at Valmikipuram Sri Pattabhirama Swamy Vari Temple

TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu on Monday laid the foundation stone for various development works worth Rs.5.73 crore at Sri Pattabhi Rama Swamy Temple in Valmikipuram, Annamayya district.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said TTD is giving priority to the renovation of ancient temples and construction of new temples as part of promoting Sanatana Dharma at the grassroots level, as directed by Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu. As part of the target to construct 5,000 temples, works have already commenced for 1,200 temples, he said.

He said funds were sanctioned for the development of the temple following the request of Pileru MLA Sri Nallari Kishore Kumar Reddy.

Major Development Works:

Pushkarini development – Rs.1.12 crore

Kalyana Vedika Mandapam – Rs.73 lakh

Reconstruction of southern Rajagopuram – Rs.52 lakh

Entrance arch – Rs.30 lakh

Second floor of Kalyana Mandapam – Rs.1.80 crore

Renovation of Paruveta Mandapam – Rs.1.26 crore

The TTD Chairman was accorded a Poornakumbha welcome by the priests. He had darshan of Sri Pattabhi Rama Swamy, received Vedic blessings and performed special prayers. Later, he unveiled the foundation stone for the development works.
