Lakshmaiaih said on Friday that saint -poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya occupied a pedestal in Bhakti Sahitya as he laid the path for nava Bhakti modes.

He had participated in the Sahitya Sabha  held as part of the 518th Vardhanti Mahotsavam of Annamacharya held at Annamacharya Kala Mandir in Tirupati on Friday.

Eminent scholars Sri EG Hemant Kumar of Tirupati, Sri Sangeetam Keshavulu and Sri KSubramanyam  both from Chandragiri spoke on contributions of Annamacharya on the occasion.
 
TTD Annamacharya project Director Acharya S Dakshinamurthy Sharma and others participated.

Vontimitta,09 April 2021:  In view of rising cases of Covid across the country, TTD along with YSR Kadapa district administration has decided to observe the famous Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta as per National Covid guidelines for benefit of health security of devotees, said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

EO inspected the premises of Kalyana Vedika where the celestial marriage takes place at Vontimitta on April 26 along with district collector Sri Harikiran and SP Sri Anburajan. Later he had darshan of Sri Kodandarana Swamy.

Speaking to media on the occasion he said, the annual brahmotsavams at Vontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam will be conducted from April 21 to 29  as per Covid norms. The Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be taking part in the celestial Kalyanam for the first time on April 26. As the second wave of Covid is on rise, a restricted figure of 5000 devotees will alone be allowed to take part in the celestial marriage.

The EO also appealed to the local devotees to adhere to the Covid guidelines and co-operate with TTD and district management towards the successful conduct of the mega religious event. He said the SVBC will be telecasting the live event of celestial marriage which commences at 8pm onwards for the benefit of global devotees.

The procedure for issuance of passes will be discussed with the district management later, he added.

Local MLA Sri Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy, JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti and other officials from TTD and Kadapa were also present.

 Tirumala, 9 April 2021:The Bhashyakarla utsavam commenced in Tirumala temple on Friday.  

This fete will last for 19 days and conclude on April 27.

As part of fete in the evening, after Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, Bhashyakarlavaru also accompanied deities in the procession around four mada streets.

Tirupati, 08 April 2021: The five day long 518th Vardhanti Mahotsavam of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya held under auspices of TTDs Annamacharya project which commenced at the Annamacharya Kala mandiram and Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Thursday.

 

Earlier the Dwadasi Sapthagiri Sankeetana Gosti Ganam was presented by the local artists and that of Annamacharya project, enthralled the devotees at the Kala Mandiram and was followed by Harati and Maha Nivedana. Later in the evening the artistes rendered some melodious notes of Pada Kavita Pitamaha.

Tirumala, 08 April 21: The Bhashyakarula utsavam commences in Tirumala temple on April 9 and concludes on April 27.

 

On the occasion of the birth of Sri Ramanujacharya in the holy Vaisakha month on Arudra star, this utsavam is observed every year for 19 days in Tirumala temple.

 

This year, Bhashyakarlavari Sattumora will be observed on April 18. On this day, Sridevi , Bhudevi sametha Sri Malayappa takes ride in four mada streets after Sahara Deepalankara Seva accompanied by Sri Ramanujacharya also known as Bhashyakarulavaru on another Tiruchi. 

 

Later Sattumora is performed Jeeyar Swamis, Ekangis take part in this fete.

Tirupati, 08 April 2021: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was held in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on Thursday in connection with Ugadi. 

 

The entire temple premises was cleansed with Parimalam mixture. 

 

Spl.Gr. Dy EO Sri Rajendrudu and others were present during Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam that was held in Ekantam in view of Covid guidelines.

 

BHASHYAKARLA UTSAVAM FROM APRIL 9 ONWARDS

 

The Bhashyakarla Utsavam will commence from April 9th onwards in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple and Sattumora will be held on April 18.
