Annual Day Held




The 137th annual day of TTD run SV High School was held on Tuesday evening in Tirupati.


DEO TTD Dr Bhaskar Reddy speaking on the occasion said the students should achieve higher goals in their lives with discipline and devotion.


Dr Vanajakshamma, renowned Cardiologist from SVIMS informed the pupils of the healthy food and hygienic habits to be followed to lead a happy life.


Earlier, the Head Mistress Smt Sandhya, read out the annual report of the school.


HDPP Co-ordinator Sri Hemanth Kumar, PD Sri Kumar, former Student's Union President Sri Chandrasekhar and others were present.

Specially Able Students had Darshan








Nearly 400 students who were blind and differently-abled under Sri Astottara Shatachukkala Trust from Hyderabad had a darshan on Tuesday evening in Tirumala.


The students expressed immense happiness about their divine experience and thanked TTD for the darshan arrangements.


Trust Founder Sri Venu was also present.

TTD Eo Releases Panchangam



In connection with Sobhakrit Ugadi on March 22, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy released the Panchangam on Tuesday along with JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi and Veerabrahmam at his chambers in TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati.


FACAO Sri Balaji, PRO Dr T Ravi were also present.


Blood Donation Camp Held





In connection with International Women's Day on March 8, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy visited the Blood Donation camp held by women employees' at Central Hospital in Tirupati in Tuesday.

 

Speaking on the occasion the EO  complimented the women employees for coming forward to donate blood and wished all the Women Employees' of TTD a Happy International Women's Day.

 

TTD JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CMO Dr Muralidhar, RMO Dr Narmada, DyEO Welfare Smt Snehalata, Doctors Smt Harita, Smt Suharlata and others were also present.

Kumaradhara Theertha Mukkoti Held






Kumaradhara Theertha Mukkoti was held in Tirumala on Tuesday.


Scores of devotees trekked the torrent and TTD distributed Annaprasadam and water to the devotees at Kumaradhara Dam point. Security arrangements have also been made for the safety of devotees.

Arrangemetns for Kumaradhara Theertha Mukkoti Held

 Under the instructions of TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Tirumala VGO Sri Bali Reddy along with his Vigilance counterpart Sri Giridhar and DSP Tirumala Sri Venugopal held a detailed review meeting with all departments on Kumaradhara Theertha Mukkoti on Monday.

 

The review meeting was held at the Conference Hall in PAC 4. Kumaradhara Theertham is considered one among the scores of torrents located in the Seshachala ranges in Tirumala. The devotees trekking Kumaradhara Theertham will be allowed from 6am onwards and the path will be closed by 12noon. TTD has arranged distribution of "Ready to Eat" Annaprasadam and water at Kumaradhara Dam point. An emergency vehicle with Medical Aid will also be kept ready.

 

About 300 Vigilance, Forest, Police personnel are being drafted for Kumaradhara Theertha Mukkoti for the safety of trekkers besides 50 Srivari Sevakulu for serving Annaprasadam and Water.  Devotees with Asthma, cardiac diseases, obesity, hypertension, diabetes and other chronic diseases are appealed to avoid the trekking in view of the health safety and security. 

 

The devotees are requested to follow these guidelines and make their Kumaradhara Theertha Mukkoti trekking a memorable experience.

 



Votimitta Brahmotsavams Arrangements Reviewed






In the wake of the annual brahmotsavams and State Festival of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta Kodandaramalayam from March 31 to April 8, TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam held a review meeting with all the department heads on Monday.

 

During the meeting at his chambers in TTD Administrative Building, the JEO directed officials concerned to prepare an action plan on various preparatory activities to be executed for the mega religious festival in YSR Kadapa district. 

 

He instructed the officials to complete the pending works if any as the event is just three weeks away. He also reviewed the arrangements of the deputation of officials and employees, deployment of Srivari Sevaks, accommodation, preparation of Talambralu, Annaprasadams, sanitation, engineering works, floral decorations, Bhajana teams, security measures etc.

 

He also directed the vigilance officials to coordinate with the local police and make necessary parking and security arrangements for the visiting devotees especially at Kalyana Vedika on the day of celestial marriage on April 5.

 

As the summer is severe during that time, he instructed the concerned to keep ready water and buttermilk to be distributed among the devotees. He made some valuable suggestions on the packing and distribution of Talambralu. The JEO directed the concerned over the electrical, floral decorations, printing and distribution of booklets, posters etc. The JEO instructed the Vigilance department to set up a control room to monitor and ensure smooth conduct of annual fete especially the State Festival of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam.

Teppotsavam Held








On a penultimate day, Sri Malayappa and His two consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi took out a celestial ride on flotilla on Monday evening.


The processional deities in all their celestial splendour cheered devotees by taking five rounds on the holy waters of the temple tank.


TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy along with Supreme Court Judge Justice Pankaj Mithal, other TTD officials were also present.

TTD Women Employees to Observe International Women Day on 8th March

 In connection with International Women's Day on March 8, TTD women employees are set ready to observe the fete in a big way under the aegis of the Welfare department of TTD.


TTD has invited Mata Ramyamamda Bharati, Sri Shakti Peerhadeeshwari to grace the occasion and render her Anugraha Bhashanam.


The other important speakers includes Smt Goutami, IAS, CEO Renigunta Electronic Manufacture Cluster, Smt Sarita, IPS, SP CID.


Among the achievers in various fields International Hockey Player, Ms Rajani from Chittoor district, Smt Ratna Reddy, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist from Palamaner, Smt Obulamma, Organic farmer who won National Award will be felicitated on the occasion.


The highlight of the day is going to be honouring the Centenarian, Living Legend Doyen and Architect of SPW College Dr K Rajeswari Murty with "Sri Padmavathi Vidya Prakasini " Award. Dr Murty served as Principal of SPW college between 1954 and 1974 for nearly two decades and brought many reforms and initiatives in the college. As a token for her services, TTD is felicitating her with the unique award.


In the evening, dance, skit, epic drama, yoga etc. cultural items will be performed by women employees of TTD. The Padmavathi awards to women employees who showcased extraordinary skills, employees who are going to retire in 2024, and some retired employees who stood exemplary will also be felicitated on the occasion.


Upon the instructions of TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, Deputy EO Welfare Smt Snehalata is supervising the arrangements.




Malayappa on Teppa








On the third day evening Sri Malayappa along without Sridevi and Bhudevi blessed devotees on a finely decked float.


As part of the ongoing annual Teppotsavams on a pleasant evening on Sunday, the deities took three rounds on the sacred waters of Swamy Pushkarini on a finely decorated float.


HH Sri Pedda Jeeyangar of Tirumala, Deputy EO Sri Ramesh Babu, Peishkar Sri Srihari, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and others are present.


Vastrams Offered





In connection with the ongoing annual brahmotsavams in Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Ahobilam in the Nandyal district of AP, TTD has offered vastrams on behalf of Sri Venkateswara Swamy of Tirumala on Sunday as part of the tradition.


A team of TTD staff led by Parupattedar Sri Uma Maheswara Reddy presented the Pattu Vastrams on behalf of TTD to the Pradhana Archaka of Ahobilam Devastanam Sri KP Venu Gopala.


The vastrams are decorated to the deities on the occasion of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Kalyanam will be observed on the evening of Sunday.

Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Temple Brahmotsavams Wall Posters Released




As the annual Brahmotsavams in Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple in Tirupati are set to commence from March 20-28, the JEO TTD Sri Veerabrahmam released the posters and booklets for the same on Saturday.


The event took place in his chamber in TTD Administrative Building.


Sri KRT DyEO Smt Nagaratna, Archaka Sri Anandakumar Deekshitulu, PRO Dr T Ravi, Superintendent Sri Ramesh and others were also present.



Vizag Sarada Peetham Pontiff Offers Prayers






Vishakha Sarada Peetham Pontiff Sri Sri Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswati Swami and his successor Sri Sri Sri Swatmanandendra Swami on Saturday offered prayers at Srivari temple.


TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy organised traditional reception and Srivari Darshan to pontiffs and offered Srivari Theertha  Prasadams.

Speaking later Sri Swaroopananda Saraswati complimented the TTD officials for organising a Laksha Chandi Yagam at Kurukshetra Srivari Temple in Haryana where in he participated.

Sri Rukmini Krishna Grace on Teppa









Sri Krishna Swamy along with Rukmini glided swiftly on the sacred waters of Swamy Pushkarini on the finely decked float on a pleasant evening on Saturday.


The deities blessed devotees on the float in three rounds.


Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Trust Board member Sri Ashok Kumar, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and others were present.

Kin of Brain Dead Should Come Forward to Donate Organ to Save Another Life - TTD Eo



The kin of Braindead should come forward to donate heart to save another life, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


During the Dial your EO programme held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday, the EO before taking calls from the pilgrims, explained them on the various activities taken up by TTD in the last one month that included a second successful Heart Transplant Operation in Sri Padmavathi Childrens' Heart Centre in Tirupati where in the heart of a Braindead two-year old is inserted to a one year old infant. 


The EO said, so far two successful heart transplants took place with the dedicated efforts of a team of doctors of SPCHC and so far 1150 heart-related operations were performed in the last 15 months in the hospital. He gave a call to the devotees to come forward to Donate Organs (of the Brain Dead) and give a new lease of life to the needy. 


Later the EO also said, the Face Recognition Technology(FRT) has come into force from March 1 onwards in the accommodation and sarva darshan areas to avoid misappropriation by the middlemen and enhance transparency in pilgrim services. 


He also said, the issuance of SRIVANI offline tickets resumed in Gokulam Rest House and to avoid misappropriation only the person with Adhaar card shall be issued the tickets. 


TTD has entered into an MoU with the renowned Educational Trust in the country, Smt Sulochana Devi Singhania School Trust to enhance the educational standards of its students in SV Primary and High school in Tirumala. 


The others included eleven shoe-keeping counters to commence in Tirumala in the second week of April, successful operations of Cleft Palate, Smile Train and Cochlear in BIRRD, more Ayurvedic products in market by TTD soon etc.


The EO also briefed on the upcoming events in Tirumala and other temples related to TTD including Salakatla Teppotsavams from March 3-7, Sri Sobhakrit Nama Ugadi Astanam on March 22, Sri Rama Navami Astanam on March 30, Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti and Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta on April 5.
