Ramachandra Prabhu Shines on Chandraprabha Vahanam








Sri Rama dazzled on Chandraprabha Vahanam on a pleasant evening on Sunday.


Braving the showers devotees thronged all through the mada streets to witness the soothing Chandraprabha Vahanam.


Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, DyEO Smt Nagaratna, AEO Sri Mohan, Kankanabhattar Sri Anandakumar Deekshitulu, Superintendent Sri Ramesh and others were present.

Feed Mixing Plant to Become Operational from 31st March






The feed mixing plant in SV Goshala in Tirupati will become operational from March 31 onwards, said TTD JEO for H&E Smt. Sada Bhargavi.


During her inspection to the plant on Saturday, she said that the feed mixing plant was constructed using modern technology in the Goshala with the intention of providing fortified feed to the cattle with a donation of Rs 11 crore. 


Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University and US-based Dew Biotech signed an MoU with TTD to set up the plant which will be inaugurated by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on March 31. 


Dr. Padmanabha Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of the Veterinary University, said that the milk given by the cows in the TTD Goshala does not have enough protein. They have learned this matter through research and suggested TTD to provide fortified and comprehensive feed to the cows in its Goshala. He said that the MoU was signed as TTD has come forward to build its own feed mixing plant. By giving this feed, the protein content of the milk given by the cows is increased and 10 to 15 percent more milk is obtained now, he said.

Review Meeting on Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti Held by TTD EO




With less than two weeks time left for one of the most important torrent festivals in Tirumala, the Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy held a review meeting with all departments of Tirumala.


The meeting took place at Annamaiah Bhavan on Saturday evening. Directing the officials, the EO said as the Mukkoti is taking place after two year covid restrictions, a considerable increase in the devotees trekking Tumburu Theertham is being anticipated and asked all the officials of TTD to make arrangements accordingly. 


The devotees will be allowed for Tumburu Theertham from 6am onwards till 5pm on April 5 and again 5am to 12noon on April 6. Those who have obesity, cardiac problems, other chronic diseases are appealed not to come for trekking. 


The EO directed the Engineering, Health, Forest, Medical, Vigilance officials to make arrangements for the big fete without any compromise. "The devotees should be informed not to bring any cooking materials through continuous announcements in Radio and Broad Casting. The Annaprasadam department will supply the "Ready to Eat" food packets which will be distributed at the Papavinasanam Dam to the devotees", he maintained.


He also instructed the concerned to get ready an ambulance and a team of doctors to meet any exigencies. "Enough number of Srivari Sevaks to be deployed to Annaprasadam, Health, Vigilance departments to provide services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims", he maintained.

The online quota of Rs.300/- SED tickets for the month of April-2023 will be released on Monday (27.03.2023) @11am.


The devotees are requested to make note of it and book the tickets online.


Kodandarama Blesses on Gaja Vahana








On the sixth day evening Sri Kodandarama took out a celestial ride on the majestic Gaja Vahana.


As part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams in Tirupati, the elephant carrier seva took place with grandeur.


Both the seers of Tirumala, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Smt Nagaratna and other office staff, and a large number of devotees participated.

Hanumantha Vahanam Held







The Hanumantha Vahana Seva was held with utmost religious fervour on Saturday in Tirupati.


On the sixth day morning of the ongoing annual brahmotsavam in Sri Kodandaramalayam, Sri Rama took out a celestial ride on Hanumantha Vahana to bless His devotees.


Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, DyEO Smt Nagaratna, AEO Sri Mohan and others were present.

Surya Pujotsavam Begins at Sri Veda Narayana Swamy Vari Temple









The annual Surya Pujotsavam commenced on Friday at Sri Vedavalli Sametha Venadarayana Swamivari Temple in

Nagalapuram with grandeur.


As part of this festivities, Matsya Jayanti was observed in the temple. Every day there will be Teppotsavams till March 28 in the evening.


The speciality of the festivities is that on the first day the rays from the Sun fall on the feet, the next day on the abdomen and on the last day upon the fore head of the presiding deity which is located about 630feet away from outer prakaram which was an engineering wonder.

On the first day Friday evening, Sridevi Bhudevi along with Venadarayanaswamy will appear on the float in Pushkarini.


On March 25, Godadevi along with Venadarayanaswamy, on March 26 Sri Sita Lakshmana along with Sri Kodandaramaswamy, on March 27 Sridevi Bhudevi along with Srivedanarayanaswamy, on March 28 again Sridevi Bhudevi along with Venadarayanaswamy will glide on float and bless the devotees.

Vontimitta Brahmotsavam Arrangements Reviewed By TTD JEO









In the wake of the annual brahmotsavams and State Festival of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta Kodandaramalayam from March 31 to April 8, TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam along with Kadapa Joint Collector Sri Saikant Verma held a review meeting with all the department heads on Friday.


During the review held at the Meeting Hall at Vontimitta, the JEO directed officials concerned to prepare an action plan on various preparatory activities to be executed for the mega religious festival in YSR Kadapa district.  He instructed the officials to complete the pending works before March 31 and there will be rehearsal on April 1. He also reviewed the arrangements of the deputation of officials and employees, deployment of Srivari Sevaks, Help Desks, accommodation, preparation of Talambralu, Annaprasadams, sanitation, transportation, engineering works, floral decorations, Bhajana teams, security measures etc. He also directed the vigilance officials to coordinate with the local police and make necessary parking and security arrangements for the visiting devotees especially at Kalyana Vedika on the day of celestial marriage on April 5. 


The Joint Collector of YSR Kadapa district Sri Saikant Verma directed the officials of the district administration to set up an Inter-Departmental Control Room besides Police Control Room to follow up on the issues related to the respective department and ensure smooth management of the event without any hitch. He also directed the officials concerned from District Administration to complete the works by month end and a rehearsal of the arrangements will be carried out by the top brass authorities from District and TTD on April 1.


Additional SP Sri Tushar Dudi, RDO Sri Dharmachandra Reddy, SE Roads and Buildings Sri Maheshwar Reddy, DMHO Dr Nagaraju and other district officials were also present.

Kodanda Rama Takes Majestic Ride on Garuda








Sri Kodandarama in all His celestial splendour took out a majestic ride on the mighty Garuda Vahana on the fifth day evening of the ongoing annual brahmotsavam in Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple at Tirupati.


The pleasant evening on Friday witnessed a huge gathering of devotees who thronged to catch a glimpse of Lord Sri Rama on Garuda Vahana. Every inch of the mada streets were occupied by devotees rendering Haratis to Lord.


The devotional cultural performances by various artistes' troupes in front of Vahanam, enhanced the glory of the mega-religious event.
