Admissions into TTD Colleges



The admissions into TTD-run Junior Colleges will be available online from May 17.


According to Devastanam Education Officer Sri Bhaskar Reddy, eligible candidates shall apply online from May 17 till June 5 for admissions into Sri Padmavathi and Sri Venkateswara Junior Colleges for the Academic Year 2023-24.


The students have to visit admissions.tirumala.org to apply online. The manual is also available on the website both in English and Telugu. After going through the guidelines and norms, the students shall click on their wishful course in Intermediate and apply for the same.


The students shall clear their doubts with respect to admissions, courses, fee particulars etc. if any via the helpline also which is available on the website.


If the students click on the website, the Helpline box will be displayed. If they click on this they will get the contact numbers of the lecturers of respective courses to clear their doubts if any.


After the lapse of the date of registration of applications, seats will be allocated online based on merit and reservation and SMS will be forwarded to the students.


If any candidate fails to fill the application properly, that will automatically get disqualified and the application will be cancelled. So the students are advised to go through the manual and norms thoroughly before applying online.


Teppotsavams in Tiruchanoor



The annual Teppotsavams in Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor will be observed between May 31 to June 4.


Due to Teppotsavams, TTD has cancelled Arjita Kalyanotsavam and Unjal Sevas during these five days.


Maha Samprokshanam In Rampachodavaram Temple on 22nd May



The Maha Samprokshanam festivities in Sri Venkateswara temple at Rampachodavaram in Alluri Seetaramaraju district will commence on May 17 with Ankurarpanam and conclude on May 22.


On the last day the Maha Samprokshanam will be observed in the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam between 9am and 9:30am and devotees will be provided darshan from 10am onwards.


On the same day evening at 5pm Srivari Kalyanam will be observed.


TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the religious event.

Kanchi Pontiff Takes Part in Purnahuti







The Pontiff of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, HH Sri Vijayendra Saraswati took part in the Purnahuti of Sundarakanada Sampoorna Akhanda Parayanam held at Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham in Tirumala on Tuesday evening.

 

The unique religious event which began at 6am concluded by 8:45pm without any interval and all the 2872 shlokas from Sundarakanda were recited by 67 vedic scholars.

 

Devotees also participated with utmost dedication.

Hanuman Jaynthi Fete in Anjanadri Tirumala for Welfare of Humaniti - Kanchi Pontiff






The five day Hanuman Jayanti celebrations in the Birth place of Sri Anjaneya, the Anjanadri Tirumala mulled by TTD for the well-being of the entire humanity is a laudable move, said HH Sri Vijayendra Saraswati Swamy, the Chief Pontiff of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham.

 

The Maha Swamy of Kanchi rendered Anugraha Bhashanam at Nada Neerajanam platform on Tuesday held as a part of ongoing Hanuman Jayanti celebrations.

 

Speaking on the occasion he said Hanuman is a symbol of valour, courage and selfless service. He also made some Puranic references which asserts Anjanadri in Tirumala  is the birthplace of Sri Anjaneya.

 

The Pontiff also took part in the Purnahuti at Dharmagiri and appreciated TTD for arranging a unique program like Sampoorna Akhanda Sundarakanada Parayanam on the middle day of the five day event.

 

TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Annamacharya Project Director Dr Vibhishana Sharma and others were also present.

Hanuman Is An Icon of Service And Counrage - Kurtalam Seer




On the occasion of ongoing Hanuman Jayanti Utsavams devotional cultural programs were held at Akasa Ganga, Nada Neerajanam platforms in Tirumala on Monday.


SV Vedic students recited Hanumam Chalisa at Anjanadri followed by devotional Sankeertans by the artistes of Dasa Sahitya Project.


Sri Siddheswarananda Bharati Swamy of Kurtalam rendered Anugraha Bhashanam at Nada Neerajanam.


He said Hanuman is a symbol of selfless service, courage and wisdom. If we pray to Hanuman we will get all these qualities which are most important to lead a righteous life. Astadasa Puranas and Venkatachala Mahatyam have clearly stated that Anjanadri in Tirumala is the birth place of Anjaneya ", he asserted.


Annamacharya Project Director Sri Vibhishana Sharma was also present.

Kanchi Seer Offers Prayers To Hill Lord






Kanchi Mutt Pontiff Kanchi Mutt Pontiff H.H.Sri Sri Viyendra Saraswathi offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on monday morning. TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy welcomed him with temple honours. He rendered the vinjamara seva to lord balaji.

 

Temple DyEO Sri Lokanadham, Peishkar Sri Srihari, VGO Sri Bali Reddy, Parpathyedar Sri Umamaheswara Reddy and others were present.


Akhanda Sundarakanda At Dharmagiri









The Balakanda Parayanam commenced by TTD on July 25 in 2021 on Nada Neerajanam platform in Tirumala seeking the well-being of the entire humanity completed on Monday.


Renowned Sanskrit scholar and professor of National Sanskrit University Sri Prava Ramakrishna Somayaji mesmerized the global audience with his expertise in elucidating the shlokas in Balakanda with illustrative examples for nearly two years while Sri Ramanujacharyulu of Dharmagiri Veda Pathashala recited the shlokas with perfect sync.


A total of 2232 shlokas from 77 Chapters of Balakanda were recited for 649 days said Dharmagiri Principal Sri Kuppa Siva Subrahmanya Avadhani speaking on the occasion. 


Scholars Sri Seshacharyulu,  Sri Maruti along with the other scholars recited 166 shlokas from 74-77 sargas on Monday. 


Smt Vandana, Music lecturer from SV College of Music and Dance presented Sri Rama Jayarama Sringara Rama in the beginning of the programme and at the end rendered Bhajare Raghuveeram in a melodious manner along with her team.


AKHANDA SUNDARAKANDA PARAYANAM 


On May 16, Sampoorna Akhanda Sundarakanda Parayanam will be rendered with 67 Scholars in Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham between 6am and 11pm continuously for nearly 18 hours.


The SVBC channel under the supervision of its CEO Sri Shanmukh Kumar will live telecast the programme for the sake of global devotees.


AYODHYA KANDA 


On May 17, Ayodhyakanda will commence in Nada Neerajanam between 7am and 8am. This part of epic Ramayana has the maximum number of Shlokas taking the total to 4308.

Hanuman Jayanthi Observed with Religious Geity












The seven hills on Sunday echoed with Ramanama-Anjaneya Japam in connection with Hanuman Jayanti festivities.


The day started with a special abhishekam to the Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple located opposite Tirumala shrine, followed by Abhishekam and special pujas to Anjana sameta Sri Balanjaneya Swamy at Akasa Ganga. TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam took part in this fete. Among others, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, DyEOs Sri Lokanatham, Sri Selvam, VGOs Sri Bali Reddy, Sri Giridhar Rao and others were also present.


Later he also presented vastrams on behalf of TTD to Sri Japali Anjaneya. In the evening special pujas were performed to Seventh Mile Sri Prasanna Anjaneya statue.


NADA NEERAJANAM


On the first day, Sri Sachidananda Theertha Swamy of Tapovanam, Tuni in his religious discourse on Nada Neerajanam platform said, Rama-Hanuma Nama Japams will ward off all difficulties in the society and expressed his pleasure over the series of Dharmic programmes mulled by TTD for the welfare of the humanity.


SVVU VC Sri Ranisadasiva Murthy, Annamacharya Project Director Sri Vibhishana Sharma were also present.


DHARMIC PROGRAMMES


The students of TTD schools, recited Rama Japam-Hanuman Chalisa in Akasa Ganga held under the aegis of HDPP. The artistes also presented Annamacharya Hanuman sankeertans on the auspicious occasion. HDPP authorities were also present.

Maha Samprokshanam Held








The Maha Samprokshanam ritual was observed with religious fervour in the ancient shrine of Sri Lakshmi Narayana temple located inside Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple premises in Tirupati on Sunday.


The religious event was observed between 9am and 10am in the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam.


One of the chief priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu, Kankanabhattar Sri Suryakumara Acharyulu, Deputy EO Sri Devendrababu and other staff were also present.


Later the devotees were allowed for darshan.

RTC Buses to Ply in Papavinasanam Toute on 14th May



Only RTC buses will be allowed to transport devotees to Akasaganga and Papavinasanam from Gogarbham Dam Circle on Sunday in view of the heavy pilgrim rush coupled with Hanuman Jayanti.


The devotees and private taxis are requested to make note of this and cooperate with TTD.


Duty Of Every Devotee Is To Preserve The Sanctity of Tirumala - Former CJI
















Former Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramana on Saturday said it is the prime responsibility of every Srivari devotee to protect and preserve the sanctity of Tirumala by keeping the environs clean and hygiene.


The retired Chief Justice participated in the Sundara Tirumala- Shuddha Tirumala mass cleaning program taken up by TTD aimed at removing the plastic wastes on Tirumala Ghat roads, Alipiri and Srivari Mettu footpath routes. He flagged off the campaign at Alipiri footpath along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, District Collector Sri Venkataramana Reddy, SP Sri Parameshwar Reddy. and also took part in the plastic-free Tirumala program voluntarily.


Speaking on the occasion Sri Ramana called upon every devotee that just like cleaning the puja room in their homes they should strive to keep the holy shrine clean and become partners in TTD efforts to make the pilgrim center of Tirumala plastic free. Way back in 2008 Sri Dharma Reddy had provided such an opportunity to him and again now. He complimented all the TTD employees, Srivari Sevakulu and devotees engaged in the Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala program.


Later TTD EO said sanitary workers had gone on a lightning strike about 25 days ago without notice but TTD had ensured that the pilgrims are not put to any sort of inconvenience by deploying workers from other panchayats and municipalities. Apart from TTD employees, the district administration and police have also expressed their solidarity to clean the environs in Tirumala and succeeded in the task sending a message that with team spirit we shall overcome any situation of crisis", he maintained.


In the same spirit, TTD has taken up the cleaning up of Ghat roads and the footpaths in which former CJI, District Collector and SP were participating. Henceforth on every second Saturday in a month, the campaign will be conducted and told employees, devotees and Srivari Sevakulu to voluntarily participate in this mass cleaning mission and also create awareness among the devotees. He appealed to devotees not to bring any plastic bags and bottles to Tirumala and save the environs of the Hill Town.
