The Independence Day celebrations held with patriotic fervour on Friday at the Parade Grounds of TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati.
The equestrian display by NCC students from TTD colleges captivated the participants.
Under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel Anup, NCC cadets performed various stunts with horses named Good Luck, Roman Flame, Gagan, Fighter, Rani Jhansi, and Blory.
They first showcased the National Flag, NCC Flag, and TTD Flag. They also performed tent pegging, show jumping, and other maneuvers.
The cadets’ parade around the ground on horseback and their skillful stunts delighted the spectators.
TTD’s Dog Show a Special Highlight
A dog show organized under the supervision of the TTD Vigilance and Security Department was another special attraction. Under the leadership of Dog Squad In-charge Sri. Venkateswarlu, dogs named Virat, Rani, Shiny, Indu, Varsha, and Beauty took part.
The events included presenting bouquets, group drills, detecting explosives and narcotics, silent drills, fire jumps, guarding objects carefully, and identifying and stopping fleeing anti-social elements.
Firefighters’ Demonstrations
The firefighting team conducted demonstrations to raise awareness about fire safety and how to remain alert during emergencies.
They demonstrated how to control fires originating from solids, liquids, and gases, and explained how to handle situations such as a cylinder catching fire while cooking at home and many more.
The 79th Independence Day was observed with patriotic fervour in Tirumala on Friday.
TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri BR Naidu hoisted the National Flag in his camp office and offered Salute.
At Gokulam Rest House the TTD Additional EO after hoisting the National Flag and offering Salute in his speech asked all the staff to get inspired by the value based system provided by the great National Leaders.
Service to Humanity is Service to Divinity and it is the prime motto of TTD. With Unity and team work we should serve devotees as we always do. The one year stats show the improvements in the areas of Annaprasadam, Sanitation and other facilities to the devotees in Tirumala, he asserted.
He called on employees to continue their impeccable services to the devotees with the same enthusiasm in future also.
On this occasion he thanked the employees, retired employees, Srivari Sevaks, and above all devotees for extending their support in achieving the targets mulled by TTD keeping in view the larger interests of the multitude of the visiting pilgrims.

ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ ఎంతో మంది స్వాతంత్ర్య సమరయోధుల పోరాట ఫలితంగా మనకు స్వాతంత్ర్యం సిద్ధించిందన్నారు. వారి స్ఫూర్తితో విలువలతో కూడిన వ్యవస్థలో భాగంగా భక్తులందరికీ నిస్వార్థంగా సేవలందించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
నూతన సాంకేతిక ప్రపంచంలో ఆధ్యాత్మిక, మానవీయ విలువలను పెంచాల్సిన బాధ్యత టీటీడీపై ఉందన్నారు. అందుకనుగుణంగా టీటీడీలో పని చేస్తున్న ప్రతి ఉద్యోగి విలువలతో వ్యవస్థను ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్లాలన్నారు.
ఇటీవల కాలంలో టీటీడీ ఎన్నో నూతన కార్యక్రమాలు చేపట్టిందని చెప్పారు. భక్తుల కోసం నిరంతరాయంగా కష్టపడి పని చేస్తున్న ఉద్యోగులందరికీ కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలియజేశారు. ఇలాగే పని చేస్తూ భక్తుల నుండి మన్ననలు చూరగొనాలని తెలియజేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో సిఇ శ్రీ సత్య నారాయణ, డిప్యూటీ ఈవోలు శ్రీ వెంకటయ్య, శ్రీ రాజేంద్ర, సోమన్నారాయణ, వీజీవో శ్రీ రామ్ కుమార్, ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
తిరుపతి టీటీడీ పరిపాలనా భవనంలో భారత స్వాతంత్య్ర వేడుకలు శుక్రవారం ఘనంగా జరిగాయి. ఇక్కడి పరేడ్ మైదానంలో టీటీడీ ఛైర్మన్ శ్రీ బీఆర్ నాయుడు జాతీయ జెండాను ఎగురవేసి వందనం చేశారు. భద్రతా సిబ్బంది నుండి గౌరవ వందనం స్వీకరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా టీటీడీ భద్రతా సిబ్బంది చేసిన కవాతు ఆకట్టుకుంది. ఎవిఎస్వో శ్రీ క్రిష్ణయ్య పెరేడ్ కమాండర్గా వ్యవహరించారు. అనంతరం టీటీడీ ఛైర్మన్ ఉద్యోగులను ఉద్దేశించి ప్రసంగించారు. ఆ తరువాత విధుల్లో ఉత్తమసేవలు అందించిన వివిధ విభాగాలకు చెందిన 41 మంది అధికారులు, 278 మంది ఉద్యోగులకు, ఎస్వీబీసీలో ఏడుగురు ఉద్యోగులకు ఐదు గ్రాముల శ్రీవారి వెండి డాలర్, ప్రశంసాపత్రం అందజేశారు.
ఆలరించిన సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు
సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాల్లో భాగంగా ఎస్వీ సంగీత, నృత్య కళాశాల విద్యార్థినులు " కట్టెదుర వైకుంఠము కాణాచయిన కొండ......", " జై అందమంతా ఒకటై ....." తదితర దేశభక్తి, ఆధ్యాత్మిక గీతాలకు చక్కటి నృత్యం ప్రదర్శించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి శ్రీ పద్మావతి డిగ్రీ కళాశాల అధ్యాపకురాలు డా|| వి.కృష్ణవేణి వ్యాఖ్యాతగా వ్యవహరించారు.
