Under the guidance of Kankanabhattar Sri Bharat Kumar Dikshitulu, the flag hoisting ceremony was performed in accordance with scriptural injunctions between 8 and 9 a.m. during Mesha Lagna. Priests offered special worship to the flag adorned with the image of Garutmanta. Amid Vedic recitations by priests and the chanting of Govinda Nama and Rama Nama by devotees, the flag was ceremoniously hoisted on the Dwajasthambham.
