As part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Temple at Nandalur, the deity appeared in the divine attire of Sri Kodanda Rama and blessed devotees on Hanumantha Vahanam on Saturday night.
Thousands of devotees witnessed the sacred procession, offering camphor harathi with deep devotion. Traditional kolatam performances, chekka bhajans, and auspicious musical ensembles added spiritual fervour and grandeur to the celebration.
According to Agama scriptures, darshan of Sri Soumyanatha Swamy in the form of Sri Kodanda Rama on Hanumantha Vahanam is believed to bestow prosperity, spiritual wisdom, courage, protection, and good health upon devotees.
The procession was attended by AEO Sri Ravi, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthaiah, Temple Inspector Sri Dileep, temple priests, officials, and a large number of devotees
