The three-day annual Avatara Mahotsavams of Sri Sundararaja Swamy at Tiruchanoor concluded grandly on Tuesday with the Garuda Vahanam procession.
On the final day, Abhishekam was performed to the deity with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric and sandalwood paste, followed by Unjal Seva in the evening.
Later, Sri Sundararaja Swamy, mounted on Garuda Vahanam, blessed devotees while taking a majestic procession through the temple streets amid devotional chants of "Govinda... Govinda."
Temple Deputy EO Sri Harendra Nath, AEO Sri Devarajulu, Temple Inspector Sri Chalapathi, chief priest Sri Babu Swamy, other officials and a large number of devotees participated in the festivities.
