TTD EO Unveils Wall Posters for Annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Temple




TTD Executive Officer Sri Muddada Ravichandra on Wednesday unveiled the wall posters for the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Temple at Nandalur in Kadapa district. The programme was held at the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati.

Later the EO said the Brahmotsavams will be celebrated from July 21 to 31. The festivities will begin with Ankurarpanam on July 21 and Dwajarohanam on July 22. Major events include Garuda Vahanam (July 26), Kalyanotsavam (July 28), Rathotsavam (July 29), Chakrasnanam (July 30) and Pushpayagam (July 31).

The EO directed officials to make comprehensive arrangements, including decorative lighting, floral decorations, queue lines, arches, sanitation, mobile toilets, first-aid centres, ambulances, fire safety, parking facilities and cultural programmes during the Vahana Sevas. He appealed to devotees to participate in large numbers and receive the blessings of the Lord.

The Lord will bless devotees on different Vahanams every day at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. during the festival.

The Arjita Kalyanotsavam will be held on July 28 at 10 a.m. Couples can participate by paying Rs.500 and will be presented with prasadam, an uttariyam and a ravika.

Daily devotional and cultural programmes will be organised by the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad, Annamacharya Project and Dasa Sahitya Project throughout the Brahmotsavams.

TTD JEO Dr. A. Sharath, Chief Engineer T.V. Satyanarayana, Deputy EO Smt. Prasanthi, Temple Inspector Sri Dileep and other officials were present.
