Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy's Divine Wedding held in Grand Manner

 




The divine wedding of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi was performed in a grand and devotional atmosphere at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Tarigonda on Friday.

As part of the 209th death anniversary celebrations of Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba, the traditional Kalyanotsavam was conducted at her birthplace, Tarigonda.

The festival began at 6 pm with the processional deities brought to the Kalyana Vedika. The wedding rituals, including Punyahavachanam, Kanyadanam, Kankanadharanam, Mangalya Dharanam and Mangalasasanam, were performed as per tradition amid Vedic chants and auspicious music. 

The ceremony concluded with Nakshatra Harathi and Mangala Harathi.

A large number of devotees attended the Kalyanotsavam, filling Tarigonda with the chanting of “Govinda”. The rituals were conducted under the guidance of chief priests Sri K. Gopala Bhattar and Sri Krishna Raja Bhattar.

Tarigonda Vengamamba Project Special Officer Dr. Vema Venkata Ratnam, Superintendent Smt. Suseela, Senior Assistant Sri L.N.V. Ravikumar, temple priests, officials, staff and devotees participated in the celebrations.

వైభవంగా శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నరసింహస్వామివారి దివ్య కల్యాణం గోవింద నామస్మరణతో మారుమోగిన తరిగొండ tarigonda

 




తరిగొండ శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నరసింహస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో శుక్రవారం శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నరసింహస్వామివారి దివ్య కల్యాణం కన్నులపండువగా జరిగింది. మాతృశ్రీ తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ 209వ వర్ధంతి సందర్భంగా ఆమె జన్మస్థలమైన తరిగొండలో స్వామివారి కల్యాణం నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంది.

సాయంత్రం 6 గంటలకు వేద పండితులు శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నరసింహస్వామివారి ఉత్సవమూర్తులను కల్యాణ వేదిక వద్దకు తీసుకొచ్చారు. అనంతరం అర్చకుల వేదమంత్రోచ్ఛారణలు, మంగళవాయిద్యాల నడుమ శాస్త్రోక్తంగా స్వామివారి దివ్య కల్యాణాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. పుణ్యాహవచనం, కన్యాదానం, కంకణధారణ, మాంగల్యధారణ, మంగళాశాసనం తదితర ఘట్టాలను భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో నిర్వహించారు. చివరగా నక్షత్రహారతి, మంగళహారతితో కల్యాణం ముగిసింది.

స్వామివారి కల్యాణాన్ని తిలకించేందుకు విశేష సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు తరలివచ్చారు. గోవింద నామస్మరణతో తరిగొండ మారుమోగింది. ఆలయ ప్రధాన అర్చకులు శ్రీ కె. గోపాల బట్టర్, శ్రీ కృష్ణ రాజ బట్టర్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో కళ్యాణోత్సవం నిర్వహించారు. 

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రత్యేక అధికారి డాక్టర్ వేమా వేంకట రత్నం, సూపరింటెండెంట్ శ్రీమతి సుశీల, సీనియర్ అసిస్టెంట్ శ్రీ ఎల్ ఎన్ వి రవికుమార్, ఆలయ అర్చకులు, ఇతర అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది, విశేష సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Grand Varalakshmi Vratam at Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple

 














The Varalakshmi Vratam was celebrated in a grand and devotional manner at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Tiruchanur, on Friday. TTD EO Sri Muddada Ravichandra and Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkayya Chowdary participated in the celebrations.

Special rituals including Suprabhatam, Sahasranama Archana, Abhishekam, Vishwaksena Aradhana, Kalasha Sthapana and Lakshmi Sahasranama Archana were performed. Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru was adorned in a golden saree and worshipped with traditional flowers. The Vratam concluded with Maha Mangala Harathi after offering 12 varieties of Naivedyam.

Auspicious Vratam for Women

Temple priests said the Varalakshmi Vratam is traditionally believed to bless women with prosperity, health, family well-being, good progeny and long marital life. Performing the Vratam in the divine presence of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru is considered especially auspicious.

Elaborate Arrangements for Devotees

TTD JEO Dr. A. Sharath said special arrangements were made for the large number of women who participated in the Vratam. Special queues, Annaprasadam, drinking water, buttermilk and prasadam were provided. The programme was also telecast live through SVBC.

Splendid Floral Decorations

The TTD Gardens Department beautifully decorated the temple and Vratam Mandapam with nearly 3 tonnes of traditional flowers and 30,000 cut flowers of 14 varieties. Gaja Lakshmi, Airavatas and Ashtalakshmi idols formed the major attractions. Seven LED screens were arranged at different locations for devotees to watch the celebrations.

Golden Chariot Procession

Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru will take a divine procession on the Golden Chariot at 6 pm through the four Mada Streets and bless the devotees.

TTD Board members, senior officials, temple staff and a large number of devotees participated in the celebrations.

తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ బృందావనంలో ఘనంగా పుష్పాంజలి pushpanjali

 




మాతృశ్రీ తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ 209వ వర్ధంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని తిరుమలలోని వెంగమాంబ బృందావనంలో టీటీడీ అధికారులు శుక్రవారం ఘనంగా పుష్పాంజలి సమర్పించారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా వెంగమాంబ వంశీయులు ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో వెంగమాంబ ప్రాజెక్టు అధికారులు, భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

TIRUMALA NAMBI FETE CONCLUDES

 


The 1053rd Avatara Mahotsavams of Sri Tirumala Nambi, the revered first citizen of Tirumala who devoted his life to kainkaryams to Sri Venkateswara Swamy, concluded grandly on Friday at the Tirumala Nambi Sannidhi on South Mada Street. 

Sixteen scholars from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka delivered discourses on his life and contributions.

Addressing the gathering, 101-year-old scholar Sri Srinivasacharya said that Pundarikaksha, Bhagavad Ramanuja and Vedanta Desika followed the path shown by Sri Tirumala Nambi and greatly propagated Visishtadvaita philosophy and the Sri Vaishnava tradition. 

Earlier, TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary offered prayers at the shrine. TTD Special Officer of the Alwar Divya Prabandha Project Dr. M. Tirumalisai Alwar, descendants of Sri Tirumala Nambi Sri T.K. Seshadri Swamy and Sri T.K. Mukunda Tatacharya and others participated.

తిరుచానూరు శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారి వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతం సందర్భంగా శుక్రవారం శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారు స్వర్ణరథంపై ఆశీనులై భక్తులకు దర్శనమిచ్చి కటాక్షించారు.

స్వర్ణరథోత్సవంలో మహిళా భక్తులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొని భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో రథాన్ని లాగారు. భక్తులు కర్పూర హారతులు సమర్పించి అమ్మవారిని దర్శించుకుని మొక్కులు చెల్లించుకున్నారు.

భక్త కవయిత్రి మాతృశ్రీ తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ 209వ వర్ధంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని తిరుపతిలోని ఎం.ఆర్‌.పల్లి సర్కిల్‌ వద్ద ఉన్న వెంగమాంబ విగ్రహానికి తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రత్యేక అధికారి డా. వేమ వెంకటరత్నం శుక్రవారం ఘనంగా పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించారు.

వర్ధంతి ఉత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా రెండో రోజు అన్నమాచార్య కళామందిరంలో ఉదయం 10 గంటల నుంచి మధ్యాహ్నం 1 గంట వరకు అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్టు కళాకారులచే సంగీత కచేరి నిర్వహించారు.

సాయంత్రం 6 గంటల నుంచి హరికథ గానం నిర్వహించనున్నారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో వెంగమాంబ ప్రాజెక్టు ఏఈవో శ్రీమతి అరుణకుమారి, సూపరింటెండెంట్ శ్రీమతి ఎన్ సుశీల, ఇతర అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది, తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
