Srivari Presents Ornaments to Sri Ram









TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy has Presented ornaments comprising jewels and Puja Utensils to Vontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam from Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy on Monday evening.


On the celestial occasion of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, a total of 13 ornaments worth nearly Rs.31lakhs have been presented.


The following are the list of ornaments.


Gold Necklace with Lakshmi Patakam - Rs.1. 82lakhs

Navratna Beads Gold Necklace - 

Rs. 2.28lakhs

Lakshmi Patakam - Rs.4.25lakhs

Pearl necklace with gold Patakam -Rs. 14lakhs

Two Silver Panchamukha Dipa Stambhams-Rs. 6.5lakhs

One Silver Plate, five silver vessels, One silver Udharini worth-Rs. 2.20lakhs


Gold ornaments weighed about half a kilo and silver over 13 Kilos presented on the occasion.


JEOs Smt Goutami, Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEOs Sri Natesh Babu, Sri Lokanatham and others were also present.

Red Anthurium - Blue Orchids - Hydrangela Light Up the Kalyana Venue










The Kalyana Vedika venue at Vontimitta provided a paradise gained feel to the participants on Monday evening.


The entire celestial wedding stage is decked with four tonnes of ornamental, traditional, exotic flowers besides 30 thousand cut flowers for the occasion.


The blue orchids, Red Anthurium, Hydrandea and other flowers enhanced the grandeur of the stage. The electrical illumination recreated a heavenly feel to the devotees.


About 200 florists comprising 100 TTD Garden and 100 experts from Hyderabad spruced up the stage with beautiful decoration.


The paddy grains garlands, mangoes, coconut flowers, band banana leaves added a traditional look to the stage.

Pournami Garuda Seva Cancelled on 23rd April










On the second evening on Monday, as part of the annual Vasantotsavams in Tirumala, Sri Malayappa Swamy and Consorts were rendered Snapana Tirumanjanam between 2 pm and 4 pm.


In this program Tirumala Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, EO Sri. AV. Dharma Reddy couple, Temple Deputy EO Sri Lokanatham and other officers participated.


Cancellation of Purnami Garudaseva on April 23


TTD has canceled the Purnami Garudaseva on April 23 at Tirumala in connection with Vasanthotsavam.

Srivari Sevakas Should Serve With Dedication - SVBC CEO Sri Shanmukah Kumar






The SVBC CEO Sri Shanmukh Kumar requested that the Srivari Sevaks who came to serve the devotees for Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam should serve with dedication.


A meeting was held with the sevaks on Monday at the PAC near Kalyanavedika in Vontimitta.


TTD Chief Public Relations Officer Dr Ravi said like Garuda Seva in Tirumala, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanotsavam is unique in Vontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam.  He said that thousands of devotees from different parts are expected to attend this festival which is being held as a state fest.


They should offer the best possible services at Galleries, Annaprasadam, water and buttermilk distribution etc.


Additional FA and CAO Sri Ravi Prasadu, Deputy EO Smt Prashanthi and other officials participated in this program.

Sri Ramachandra Murthy in Shiva Dhanurbhangalakaram






As part of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Brahmotsavam at Vontimitta in YSR Kadapa district, Sri Rama blessed His devotees in Shiva Dhanurbhangalakaram on the sixth morning.


Devotees offered Harati at every step.


Shivadhanurbhangalkaram commemorates the moment when Lord Rama broke Lord Shiva's bow during Swayamvaram and married Sita Devi.  

 

Temple Deputy EO Sri. Natesh Babu, Superintendent Sri. Hanumanthaiah, Temple Inspector Sri. Naveen and others participated.

Sita Rama Kalyanam Observed in Grandeur





















All roads led to the temple centre of Vontimitta on Monday evening with scores of devotees making a beeline to Kalyana Vedika where the celestial wedding of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam took place with utmost celestial grandeur.


The tens of thousands of devotees were spell bound with the divine charm of the celestial wedding ceremony. 


The venue appeared as sea of humanity with the devotees occupying every inch of the galleries.


The entire temple centre echoed to the divine chants of Jai Sri Ram with devotion touching the peaks.


Kalyanam Kamaneeyam


The celestial marriage commenced at 6:30pm in the temple with Bhagavat Vignapanam and lasted up to 8:30pm, followed by a series of ritual procedures including Anugna, Sankalpam, Punyahavachanam as per the tenets of Pancharatra Agama in the auspicious Lagnam.


Kalyanam Rituals


After this, Raksha Bandhanam was performed by the Archakas under the directions of Archaka Chief Sri Rajesh Bhattar followed by Yagnopaveeta Dharana, Kanyavaranam, Madhuparkarchanam.


The priests later performed Kanyadanam and read out the ancestral tree of both the Bride and the Bridegroom. 


This is followed by the priests reciting Mangalastakam, Choornika.


After all the series of rituals, the much awaited episode, Mangalyasutra Pooja, Mangalyasutra Dharana, Akshataropanam were performed with utmost religious fervour amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by the priests. The celestial fete completed after Nivedana, Veda Swasti, Mahada Aseervachanam.


Jewels Displayed


The 13 jewels presented to Vontimitta Kodanda Rama have been displayed and read out by the priests on the occasion.


Edurkolu held


The traditional Edurkolu ritual with both the Bride and Bridegroom facing one another on separate Tiruchis was performed.


Talambralu and Laddus distributed 


Each devotee is given the Talambralu, Laddus, Kankanams, Akshatalu kits and after Kalyanam distributed Pulihora and Sweet Pongali prasadams in food counters.


Under the supervision of sectoral officers and gallery staff and with the support of Srivari Sevaks and Scouts the entire distribution activity has been carried out in a hassle free manner.


Special CS Sri Karikalavalavan, Special CS Sri SS Ravat, and other dignitaries including Sri Girija Shankar, Collector Sri Vijayaramaraju,  Upalokayukta Judge Justice Rajani, District Judge Justice Sridevi, Joint Collector Sri Ganesh Kumar, SP Sri Siddharth Kaushal and others were present.


TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, JEOs Smt Goutami, Sri Veerabrahmam and other senior officers of TTD, devotees were also present.
