Samantha Scripts History at the Box Office as Maa Inti Bangaram Enters the 100 cr Club

Last week, Samantha’s action family drama became the highest-grossing woman-led Telugu film of all time. And now Maa Inti Bangaaram has officially crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the worldwide box office, cementing its place as one of the biggest commercial successes in the history of women-led Indian cinema with a recovery of more than 300% on its budget.
MiB has created history by becoming the first female-led Telugu film to cross the coveted 100cr gross mark, surpassing many collection records on its way including the highest overseas collections for a female- led film, exceeding $2.5 Million. MiB also makes it to No 6 amongst India's Highest Grossing Solo Female Led Indian Films.
Maa Inti Bangaram is the brain child of Raj K Nidimoru, who created and crafted it in collaboration with BV Nandini Reddy. The movie is produced by Raj, Samantha and Himank Reddy Duvuru under their production house, Tralala Moving Pictures. It was released on June 19, 2026, simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil (as Engal Thangam). Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Gautami, Sreemukhi and Anand feature in prominent roles in the film.
The film became a phenomenon and in a rare feat, women of all ages flocked to the theaters and embraced it unanimously. They praised Samantha’s performance and the picture perfect cast. The film was also praised for the situational comedy and the spectacularly natural action sequences.

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Vari Temple on 16th July
Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be observed at the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Srinivasa Mangapuram, on July 16, ahead of the annual Salakatla Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams to be held from July 17 to 19.
The rituals will begin with Suprabhatham, followed by Thomala Seva, Koluvu and Panchanga Sravanam. Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed from 6.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
During the ceremony, the temple premises, walls, ceiling and puja articles will be cleansed and sanctified by sprinkling holy water mixed with fragrant ingredients. Devotees will be allowed for darshan from 12.30 p.m. onwards.

Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao Assures Assistance to the Differently Abled Survivor

Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, a famo
us producer and director has said that humanity and compassion should be the guiding force for people’s actions not only in natural calamities but also in tragic incidents like these. He said that every individual has a responsibility to stand by those who are helpless in such situations.
The entire state is shocked by the recent incident in Shabad of Ranga Reddy district, where Raj Kumar allegedly murdered his wife, two children, a minor girl who had filed a case against him and the girl’s mother in a gruesome act.
Reacting to the incident, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao said, “This is a dastardly crime which makes every civilized person hang his head in shame. Society may be progressing in many ways, but such barbarous acts still occur. It is difficult to understand why people are growing so cruel. “This brutal incident has really upset me and makes me wonder what sort of society we are living in today.”
He extended his deep sympathies to the families of the deceased. He said he would also be talking to the village elders to ensure the differently abled survivor from the affected family receives the necessary support, care and assistance.
Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao has a long track record in humanitarian service. He reached out to people from across the Telugu film industry, from daily wage workers to film producers, extending financial help during the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing his generosity and compassion. He has helped many orphaned and differently abled people over the years.
